Of course, ever since Barack Opossum wrapped up the nomination, he's been "moving to the center." And as we saw yesterday with the DUmmies, this INFURIATES the Nutroots! Today we take a peek at the KOmmies' displeasure, in this THREAD, "Rewarding good behavior." Head KOmmie KOs must have struck a KHOrd, because this diary has generated over 1,300 KOmments! WAY too many to DUFU, but we'll sample a few. So many of you are upset that I pulled back my credit card last night, making a last minute decision to hold back on a $2,300 contribution to Obama.

First of all, obviously Obama is a great candidate who is running a great 50-state race.

But he's had a rough couple of weeks.

First, he reversed course and capitulated on FISA. . . .

Then, he took his not-so-veiled swipe at MoveOn in his "patriotism" speech.

Finally, he reinforced right-wing and media talking points that Wes Clark had somehow impugned McCain's military service when, in reality . . .

Maybe what looks like cowering to me is really part of that "moving to the center" stuff everyone keeps talking about.

But there is a line between "moving to the center" and stabbing your allies in the back. . . .

Obama is now clearly not looking much different than every other Democratic politician who has ever turned his or her back on the base. . . .

His book, "Flim-Flam" is a must read, among others He has written. he has also exposed faith healer Carl Popoff as a fraud (using a wireless scanner to pick up the microphone). He appeared many times on the Johnny Carson show.

I figured there would be atheists there, that must be the attraction for Ben. The Amazing Randi is right in exposing the religious charlatans (e.g., Benny Hinn). However, many then lump ALL religious people into the same category.
James Randi has a rather spirited political forum, with both conservatives and liberals, part of his main forum with many other topics. I debunk all illogical and unfounded Bush bashing. It's a target rich environment. I also debunk all Ronald Reagan smears, obviously my specialty.
