They were out of bullets, so technically they weren't armed.
They will let them go on that technicality.

In the old days something this provocative would be considered an act of war.
Mexico's Ambassador would have gotten a serious a$#chewing, and the perps would have been thrown in prison.

And so far, no response from the senior Senator from Arizona.

Mexicans are sure brazen these in these days of embarrassing American weakness. It wasn’t long ago that incidents like this happened only south of the border.
I’m sure Joe Arpaio has taken notice. ...and is prepared.

Gee. I wonder what the White House will have to say about this?
Maybe we can arrange a prisoner exchange. Trade these invaders to the Mexican authorities if they'll let us release our two border agents from the federal penetentiary.
(If that doesn't make any sense to you, it's not supposed to. Those two shouldn't have been sent to jail they should have received a citation!)

I’ve been folowing this for a few days here on FR. This is serious. However, this headline is in no way supported by the story.

Just three free-booting Mexican soldiers sent to murder American law enforcement officers.
Nothing to see here my friends . . .

This is an act of war. Bush should be jumping all over the Mexican government.
