I think about (and post about) a lot of things at the same time, concurrently with working one-and-a-half jobs and taking care of my family... as I'm sure most of us here do. Your sarcasm shoots off at an angle, too bad.
There is a reason this topic isn't getting any traction in the world outside FR, and it's not because there's a vast left-wing conspiracy. Nevertheless, some folks enjoy posting the same five questions and non-answers over and over and over on each of these essentially identical Obama Birth Cert threads. They're welcome to do so, free country, etc.
I think this category of threads addresses a non-issue -- and is largely a waste of time that could be better spent on potentially more effective political issues. Or wanking, or whatever they enjoy.
Full disclosure: I enjoy posting pictures of Catherine Zeta-Jones on every Maureen Dowd thread I find, so who am I to talk, right?

Precisely when Obama's mother moved to Hawaii is irrelevant. Re-read the first part of condition (g) for natural-born citizenship (see post #83 above):
(g) a person born outside the geographical limits of the United States and its outlying possessions of parents one of whom is an alien, and the other a citizen of the United States who, prior to the birth of such person, was physically present in the United States or its outlying possessions for a period or periods totaling not less than five years, at least two of which were after attaining the age of fourteen years...
Hawaii was annexed by the United States on July 7, 1898, and is, for the purposes of condition (g), an "outlying possession" of the U.S. thereafter. Hence, whether or not Hawaii was a state for two years when Obama was born is not relevant to determining his status as a natural-born American citizen under condition (g).
NOT SO. She had not resided within the US for 10 years, at least 5 of which have to be AFTER the age of 16.

Yes. The important business is keeping Free Republic from looking like a horde of Obama-bashers who lack regard for the facts rather than a serious political forum wherein Obama's genuine flaws are highlighted.
I think that there is some dispute in this, but let’s get the facts. I want to know if he was born in Kenya or here. That’s not asking a candidate much.
That might be something of interest, but per posts #83 and #90, it's irrelevant to determing whether Obama is eligible to become the President of the United States. And that's the only issue I've been addressing on this thread...
I predict that the Obama camp will resist anymore discussion of the issue of his birth, same as Kerry did regarding his military records.
Obama will cry that this is swiftboating, which it truly is. We will seek out the truth when he has produced falsehoods.
I think we overestimate the intelligence of the people running his campaign. I don’t think they have a clue regarding the birth certificate. They felt that this is a minor issue when in reality, it may be major.
The only issue I’ve addressed on this thread is the specific issue whether Obama is a natural-born American citizen or not. On the basis of what we’ve come up with here, I believe it’s clear that he is. Hence this particular issue seems to me to fall under the rubric of ‘beating a dead horse’.
You may be right regarding the citizenship, but I think there is something in the birth records that may very well sink his campaign or at the least put him on the defensive.

HE’S RUNNING FOR THE PRESIDENCY, THEREFORE I THINK IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT HE TELLS US EVERYTHING REGARDING HIS BIRTH. I.E. HIS NAME, FATHER, PLACE OF BIRTH ETC....

There's more than citizenship at stake. Race and religion, for instance, might factor in if the actual birth certificate listed an Islamic name (or a name more Islamic than Hussein such as Muhammed) or a race for the father other than Black (e.g. Asian, or back then even "Mongoloid" was a race in some states).
