How Much Does The DNC Value Democrats
Politically Drunk On Power ^ | 05/30/2008 | Jarid Brown

We are all familiar by now with the ongoing battle for the votes of Florida & Michigan to count. The DNC and Obama Campaign will tell you how much they value the votes of all Democrats. But is there any way we can really determine how much they value those votes. Hmmm….

Wait, we can tell how much they value the votes of all democrats simply based upon the math. The Democratic Party has a proportion (not necessarily fair) delegatory system. Delegates in each state are awarded based upon the overall popular vote and based upon the vote tally of each congressional district.

Now, I’m sure some Obama supporters will be reading this post, so I’m going to provide them with a quick definition...

...Let’s assume that the vote of a democrat living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – CD2 - is worth 1, then…

A Democrat living in Pittsburgh’s CD14 would be worth? 0.78 A Democrat living in Scranton’s CD11 would be worth? 0.55 A Democrat living in Erie’s CD3 would be worth? 0.55 A Democrat living in Allentown’s CD would be worth? 0.44...

yes, what hypocrisy. the only fair way to settle this is for Florida and Michigan to vote knowing their votes will count this time. but the Dems are too cheap. that’s how much they value a person’s ability to be heard - NOT! the fix is in.

what i think is amusing is the clinton-operative

harold ickes, son of the communist fdr cabinet member,

fought hard to make sure that florida and michigan were

excluded.

now, mr. ickes has reversed his position!

I haven't figured why someone hasn't pointed out that Democrats don't trust the voters to pick the "right" candidate. If the voters mess up, then the super delegates can "straighten" out the mess later on at the convention.

Typical left wing politics to think you aren't smart enough to know what they want. It may backfire on them now, however. If B. Husein Obama keeps messin up, he still may get it at the convention, but lose as bad as Dukakis in the general. The "super delegates" were supposed to fix that problem if a candidate was unelectable, but they don't have the "nads" now to give it to Hillary. A couple more endorsements by terrorists or dictators and when people find out his name is on a Farc laptop already working with Chavez and Farc, he may be toast. You never know though. Maybe people want us to suck up to dictators and give up our sovereignty. I know there are many college students that wear "Che" T shirts that might think that's fine.

The Democrats ought to be real careful of this one...see the Three-Fifths Compromise of the Contintental Congress...

unfortuntely the only fair way is to start over completely by both parties. how many cross-over votes after juan got the nod? how many cross-over votes gave juan the nod?

and how about (will never happen) having to quit your house or senate seat or any office other than president or veep in order to run.
