They want to impeach Bush in the last 8 months of his administration. They clearly don’t think he’s a lame duck then.

McClellan says the reasons for the war were correct, the administration wanted to manipulate public perception of the projected overall costs.

My guess is because of the administration's thought that higher social-program spending can be tied to military appropriations and Jorge really wanted the Democrats to like him.
