"I suppose it's possible that he was a Navy Corpsman attached to the Marines." That was Reverend Wright (his spiritual uncle.)

IIRC, there was at one point a proposal to send Marines to Europe. General George C. Marshall hit the roof and said something to the effect that “there would never be any Marines serving in the European theater”.

“It was that generation of Russians...who saved humanity.”
Bull$hit. This from the same people who credit Gorbachev with ending the soviet union.

We entered the war 3 years later, that also meant fewer losses.

Perhaps I should tell this putz it isn’t all because Obamahammod “confused” concentration camps.
It’s because the Democrats have pounded every Republican president for “misspoke”, gaffes, whatever, and have labled them as stupid, etc.
Nice to see a Democrat take the stupidity crown with all of Obamahammod’s screw-ups.

It was that generations of Russians [..] who saved humanity"
Russia only attacked when they themselves were invaded. In all fairness to Russia's role, if all of those soldiers were along the French coast instead of Russia the war would have taken a lot longer as the Allies would have been forced to approach Germany from southen Europe instead. Also in fairness, the 'humanity' that was 'saved' by Russians promptly became Russian territories and were not to see their freedom again for another 40 years.

There is always the possibility that the long, lost relative of Obamas really did liberate Auschwitz, as a member of the Red Army.
Maybe Communism is a family tradition.

Absolutely true on all counts.
Without Saints Julius and Ethyl Rosenberg, (Well, the left seems to think they were saints, martyred saints, no less!)
It would have taken the soviets longer and cost them much more.
The the Soviet Union would have bankrupted itself and collapsed earlier.
The really dangerous part of the cold war would have been shorter.
And less opposed American influence would have kept more people living under free and democratic rule.
Small wonder the left mourns them so...

1. When a wolf fights off a coyote, it is of no benefit to the rabbit.Actually, sometimes it is. That's why rabbits are fear screamers. Where your attacker isn't a top predator there is real advantage to calling in a bigger predator. Sometimes you can creep away to nurse your wounds (and ultimately survive to pass on your screamer genes) while they are fighting over rights to your miserable carcass...

Socialist liberals put this suit up as their best candidate, and at the same time they say that Bush is stupid.
What self righteous idiots.

If the American electorate are dumb enough to not clue in on what’s going on, perhaps they deserve this loser in the White House.
Unfortunately we do not.

You aren’t supposed to have a say in the agenda. There is no debate of the issues. They’ve already decided on the positions we should all take.
You should just accept that President Chimpy McBushitler is dumb but you can’t hold that same yardstick to candidate Saint B.H.Obama. And don’t you dare suggest he looks like a chimp or used drugs or mangled a statement.

“His uncle wasnt really his uncle. “
I used to be really uptight about the proper nomenclature of familial relationships until I started hanging around large families. Everyone is a “cousin”, regardless of their 1st/2nd/3rd removal and Uncles are brothers of mothers/fathers/grandmothers/grandfathers. In those circles the exact designation(1st, 2nd, 3rd) are frivolous.
I love to beat a political dog as much as anyone else but that’s all this purpose serves, there was no maliciousness on BHO’s part. It’s not like he brought up assassination.

RUSH:...So he's a walking gaffe machine out there, and they say, "Yeah, you gotta cut these people some slack." No, no, no! At some point, doesn't it make sense that somebody running for president should know some things, should have a basic understanding of American history? I realize based on some e-mail that I received yesterday that some of you people thought I was a little too harsh when discussing Obama's relative ignorance about Memorial Day and other things. They just keep piling up. What this guy has -- and this is a psychological problem, and somebody has written about it on a blog. (cont.)

The REAL Significance of Obama's Nazi Gaffe is that he was trying
too hard to attack Bush and McCain by pretending that he is more sympathetic to returning soldiers, than they are.
In his uncontrollable eagerness to achieve his goal, Obama fumbled the ball.
Tom Daschle did the same thing at a press conference in 2001
It was obvious from his delivery that Daschle's intent was to portray pro-NMD folks as idiots. At the end, he made himself look like the half-wit.
Excerpt from Daschle's press conference, in 2001, on the National Missile Defense Program
"Every aspect of the debate and the consideration that is given this whole [missile defense] program is - is troubling to me.
I - I mean - I - there's a disconnect there.
I mean - It just seems common sense
I mean - there's no brain
This isn't rocket science here
Yes it IS rocket science -
That's the problem - Hadn't thought about that - As I just think out loud - as I meander through here.
(laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh)
That's the problem."
