Michael Savage Mocks Ted Kennedy Tumor
SFGate: Politics Blog ^ | 5/21/8 | Joe Garofoli

Posted on 05/21/2008 10:29:34 AM PDT by SmithL

Even Ted Kennedy's political enemies spoke kindly of him when they learned that he had a malignant brain tumor.

But not conservative talk show host Michael Savage. As a form of "respect" to Kennedy on his syndicated talk show Tuesday, Savage played The Dead Kennedy's "California Uber Alles" - get it? Ho ho, the wit! Oh, and he dropped in a couple of "Kindergarten Cop" sound clips of the Arnold Schwarzenegger character saying, "It's not a tumor."

Listen to it here, if you must. Then quickly bathe.

Mike, Mike, Mike, one word, baby: Karma. It never forgets.

Then again, Savage's Karma Deficit is higher than Barry Zito's ERA, based on his past stunts, like the time he told a caller to his then-MSNBC program a "sodomite" and that he "should gets AIDS and die." MSNBC fired him.

Self righteous sanctimony masquerading as “class”. That's what it is.

Thanks for the post. Love this part.

SAVAGE: Come on. OK, you get the picture? This is running America. No wonder Ahmadinejad’s racing ahead with a nuclear weapon. He's afraid of these old men? He's afraid of these men who don't know what they're talking about? They don't know what they're talking about. No wonder Al Gore can receive a prize — a Nobel Prize for something that doesn't exist. No wonder. Nobody knows what's going on. Either they're senile, or they're bought out, or they're corrupt, or they're crazy, or they're on medication. And we the people are sitting here saying, “The king has no clothes,” and the king says, “Off with your head.” Play “California Über Alles” by the Dead Kennedys for me. I'm not going to get too worked up right now — lunch is coming up for me anyway.

He nails it. Go Savage!

I can’t understand the animosity towards Michael Savage on the site.

I can't understand it either.

Clearly bipolar, clearly NOT on medication. Most of the time he is more right than wrong, but he hates everyone. Is there a conservative out there whom he likes? He blasts them all from Rush to Ann Coulter to Hannity etc. The guy is more full of himself than O’ Reilly.

Bipolar disorder is a mental disorder.

Are you saying FReepers are bi-polar as well. They blast on Rush, Ann and Hannity too.

Observe McCain. Evidently not.

Not suprising, considering that Mike Savage is pretty much at war with the other conservitive talk radio hosts.

"Observe McCain. Evidently not."

Well, I didn't vote for McCain in the primaries, and I won't vote for him in the fall. I can hardly blame the talk show hosts for McCain being the nominee. I blame the spineless Republicans in Congress, the weak-kneed GOP, and those who compromised their values and voted for McCain.

"I have no problems with him mocking Byrd. This business of politicians crying in public is obscene. Go to his bedside an blubber your eyes out in private where it belongs."

Byrd probably cried more over Teddy's illness than he did when his wife died.

Beings my prayer post was removed, maybe this dick head will look back at his screwed up life and come to God and pray for his Soul. He is destined for hell unless he repents. Many wish the have this chance.

Exactly. When any conservative has been diagnosed with something like Alzheimer's, etc, the left has been full of mockery, glee, and nothing but the most hate-filled, vicious rants.

I can see our side wanting to be the "bigger" on this issue, but I can't fault Savage. I agree with him 99% of the time, and on this one, all I can say is that Kennedy's policies have pushed far more evil and destruction in this country than almost any other single politician of the last thirty years. Sorry, I won't blast Kennedy or wish him ill, but I can't fault Savage for mocking him.

Were history to be rearranged and Adolf Hitler not having committed suicide but incarcerated for life and suddenly diagnosed with the same problem, would these same people here feel and express the same sentiments they have?

I say this because in my book this man (Kennedy) has spent not 5-10 years endeavoring to enslave the world, but rather his whole life! This man has spent his whole life doing his worst to enslave us, our children and our grandchildren.

I have absolutely no sympathy, and it makes me ill to see this overly magnamous and thoughtful aura of compassion coming from this website.
