The “Distraction” Defense, a central and crucial tenet of the Obama campaign strategy, has been invoked repeatedly over the last few weeks in a transparent attempt to shore-up a candidate who, with each passing day, is increasingly looking to be spectacularly unqualified for the Presidency. The frequency, as well as the vigor, with which the Defense has been raised recently, seem to vary inversely with the number and enormity of the gaffes the former community organizer has been making on the campaign trail lately. He lectures us that the threat a country poses to the United States is directly related to its geographic size; he tells us Iran does not pose a serious threat, then in a fortnight, completely changes and contradicts his previous position by reminding us that he has for years maintained the threat from Iran is “grave.”

He compounds his naivete by a breathtaking misstatement of the historical record with regards to the role diplomacy, and “negotiation” played in the administrations of FDR, JFK and Ronald Regan. There is no mention of the drubbing the young JFK received from a cantankerous and irascible Khrushchev who, during their Vienna “summit”, found the young President to be weak and indecisive, and which assessment was probably responsible for Soviet posturing and testing of Kennedy’s mettle during the Cuban Missile Crisis. There is no mention of the fact that it was the unwavering policy of Regan’s Star War’s buildup that

1. Hussein ObamaMessiaHamas, when you run for the highest office in America, you don’t get to set the tone of the discussions and set the limits about what is said about you, and you have an open field with your opponents to say any lies you want to say.

2. When you send your millionaire, loud mouthed, Black racist, spoiled America Hating B$tch of a wife out to knock America, the other candidates and to campaign for you. She becomes a legitimate target of how America feels about her and her bitter comments about America.

3. Last but not least, when you say this bs about leaving your Bitter wife out of the campaign, there must be something really bad that she has done. So are you trying to preempt the disclosure of what else she has done, said or worse?
