269...if Obama wins the remaining states, then it’s a 269-269 tie, and it goes to the Democrat-controlled House of Representatives, which even though they may very well elect him, is going to put a lot of Dems in GOP-leaning districts in a very precarious position if they vote in someone their district did not vote for.

I believe this election is John McCain’s to throw away. Regardless of what is said about the state of the Republican party which isn’t very good. I think the GOP has a great opportunity in running against such an openly liberal Democrat candidate and such an openly liberal Democrat party. Also the ruling in CA will help if the GOP doesn’t run away from it and uses it as an example to hold up to the public. One of the reasons this past week when President Bush made the statements about appeasement the left went berserk was because they hit home. President Bush hit another home run on who is really responsible for the energy “crisis”.

The left isn’t hiding, just point out their plans for America, point out the out of mainstream policies they are pushing on social and economic grounds. Just call a spade a spade and debate them on their Anti-American, Anti-Military, Anti-Family, Anti-Energy, Misanthropic policies. They spend so much time beating up on President Bush, the United States, and traditional families and it is time they received the beating they so much deserve.

Might the Supreme Court intervene again? They’re majority Republican. That would give it to McCain.

We keep Ohio and Florida, McCain should be able to win with a comfortable lead.
