The first part of the show was all gangster-hippie chic with models wearing holsters and guns, and stepping out in sleek tuxedoed, slouchy blouse-and-pant combinations [...] As an inspiration Lagerfeld cited Brian Jones, the drug-addled Rolling Stone who was found dead at the bottom of his pool in 1969. The show ended with synchronized swimmers from the U.S. Olympic team jumping into the water, culminating in the lineup forming the house’s logo.
