No, he didn’t sound drunk. He’s that incoherent when he’s sober.
He had all that drivel already written on his little Mac, ready to go, and waited until he stumbled in one morning to launch it out for his fan club to drool over. He knew at that hour most of his detractors would be asleep.
To: PJ-Comix
Hmmm, when I read that intro I heard Barbra Streisand screeching singing "Papa, Can You Hear Me?" You should really set it to music.

It was dark when I started typing, and I had a theme to pursue. Then it was light, and I wasn't making sense, and...yeah. Sorry.
The life story of William Pitt the Drunker. In his own words.

How's your new book coming along.... if you sober up for a few months again, you'll be back on top again. Yeah...sure he will.

"Drunken" makes sense. 'Cause nothing he said does.
schadenfreude is ugly in any language
It's a beautiful word, defining an emotion which needs a name. The English equivalent is "epicaricacy", which doesn't roll off the tongue as trippingly.
The emotion it describes may not be a nice one, but surely isn't as bad as the plain old malice and hate so often expressed by Pitt and most others on the left side of the spectrum

DON'T REPLY. EVER. I love the way he repeats this "trick" over and over and then proceeds to reply to every comment that follows, even to their "Grovelbot."

Mama! Papa! Don't you know me? I'm your little Sonny Boy! . . . at a phony themed bar to make Trust Fund kids feel like they are part of the Working Class. . . . forever stuck on the offramp to oblivion. . . . the bottle continues calling out to you, William Rivers Pitt. Hear its alluring song. Drink me! . . . Such is the fate of Pied Piper Pitt. Very well written intro, PJ!
To: PJ-Comix
OK, ya bastids. It's 6:30am, I'm quite completely drunk...and here we go. Pie-eyed Piper Pitt, PWCS (Posting While Completely Schnockered).
To: PJ-Comix
I started typing at 4:30am, and lost my train of thought exactly seventeen times. . . . How many times did you lose your Angry?
To: PJ-Comix
I have never let little things like not making sense stop me from...um...not making sense. Pitt, that actually makes complete sense! You're right!
To: PJ-Comix
I finally figured out the trick. Hell, it only took me seven years, 40,000+ posts and maybe a thousand moments I'd like to forget but can't, because . . . . . . they're documented forever in the DUmmie FUnnies!

DON'T REPLY. EVER. Pitt, you MUST be drunk. You left out a period from your usual punctuation style, which would be:
DON'T. REPLY. EVER.

It's 6:30am, I'm quite completely drunk This is news? When you're sober (if ever), that will be something worth mentioning.
I started typing at 4:30am, and lost my train of thought exactly seventeen times
Only seventeen times in two hours? You must be starting to sober up after all.
