I do see a big difference.
Obama IS a Socialist. He WILL raise taxes, and not much we can do if the senate and house goes with him.
On the other hand, McCain still has SOME value system that is related, however distantly to capitalism and we can still fight to keep him from signing every liberal bill that comes through. Obama will completely ignore us.
McCain might try to ignore us, but it will cause a stink with his so-called “Republican Presidency”.
Barring that, I go with the crowd and let a Dem take the office so someone with an R by his name doesn’t end up getting all the blame for the bad times this country is about to go through.
One way or another, Republicans are redeemable, and Democrats have absolutely no current redeeming value.

He WILL raise taxes, and not much we can do if the senate and house goes with him.” - that’s tricky b/c McCain didn’t vote for the Bush Tax cuts... so it’s hard to convince myself that he will actually not raise taxes when the liberal press tells him to b/c you know he loves the attention (we can say one think - Bush doesn’t give a CRAP about what the press thinks or says about him and if he believes it he does it! At least he still has that on occasion .... Don’t know if I can convince myself that McCain has that... - I’m trying not to LIE to myself this time around
