One note on “privacy fencing” that you may not have considered. Burglars just love “privacy fencing”. They can do their work in “private”.........

I had not thought of that. We’ve been fortunate thus far, as far as theft goes, but I think our dogs play a big role in that. Maybe if we left the entrance to our house (our driveway) open?

That's why I have 3 dogs! No one comes near my house that they don't start barking their heads off. Even if we're not home, our neighbors know to look out the windows & check out what's going on. Also a burglar alarm system for if they actually breach the doors & windows while you're gone.

As far as fencing goes, I'm interested in hearing everyone's opinions on this too - we have an acre I'd like to fence. Not all of it has to be for privacy, as we have woods around 3 sides - but I would like to keep my dogs confined to our property.
