Why do I get the feeling this is going to be a PR nightmare for China to the point where it will snowball out of control?

But what is saddest is that the population of Chinese, especially those living overseas, are so blindly proud of their polluted, social junkyard of a country that they venomously defend anything and everything that China does. Those living outside of China get to enjoy the fruits of the West's continual evolution and do everything they can to avoid going back to their so-called "motherland" and yet brazenly tout filthy China as "just as good" as the West and the "future leader" of the world. If this is how China plans to lead the world, the human race is headed for extinction.
Well, maybe just a huge conflict.

"Then there are the "China hands" who are given a hell of a lot more credit than they deserve. On the one hand they do have more real China experience than the academics, but on the other hand they are either rejects from back home or just in China to make money or both, so they won't say anything, even in private to the US gov't, that upsets their ability to stay in China and be "white gods". Even if these "white gods" smell of booze and body odor much of the time."
A phenomenon unknown to most of the world, but exactly spot-on the mark in its accuracy!

Good find. This guy really lays it on everybody for their complacence and/or complicity in the growing threat China is. I'm not sure what he is referring to when he affixes blame to Nixon for abandoning the CIA effort to help Tibet though. According to this very good article on that subject the U.S. ended its part in that project in 1965. Other than that though; all parties are guilty.
