After revisiting my old "Al Gore At The Movies" reviews here, I am feeling a yearning for becoming his "typist" again. Any paying periodicals out there interested in this feature? It is a FUn way to read movie reviews mixed with political commentary as presented by "Al Gore."

I hope you're right. Its a really interesting story how I fell into writing those "Al Gore" movie reviews. I really enjoyed doing it plus I was being paid well to see lots of movies.

One time I had a really strange experience. I went into a movie theater to see the matinee showing of "Tears of the Sun." After I sat down someone came into the row behind me. As he passed directly behind me he momentarily let his hand fall on my shoulder and massaged it for a quick moment. So if such a thing happens to you, what would you think? It sure made me uncomfortable.

The guy behind me sat a little to my right. I didn't want to give him the satisfaction of seeing me change my seat because of my discomfort due to the shoulder massage so I stayed right where I was.

It took a lot of concentration after that to focus on the movie when it came on the screen but the moment it was over, I made a beeline for the exit. Unfortunately, the mysterious guy behind me was right on my tail and drawing closer. Just as I hit the exit I felt his hand again on my shoulder. Then I heard a familiar laugh...

It was my friend Donny. By coincidence he entered the same theater right behind me. So the shoulder massage was just a practical joke. I had to laugh because I played some big practical jokes on Donny as well and I guess this was just payback.

But I have to admit that I felt VERY uncomfortable throughout that movie.

What does that mean? Did the CNN people want to hold a lit candle beside one ear and try to see the flame by looking through her other ear but she wouldn't let them hold the candle?

From your description of her it seems probable that they would have gotten an unobstructed view straight through her cranium if she had allowed them to try that experiment.

I remember when Randi was totally humiliated while being interviewed by Lou Dobbs. After that she swore off TV interviews because she was too stupid to think on her feet.

I guess it shows how faulty their sense of right and wrong is.

Whatever she is, she isn't a Democrat. That's not the sort of sexist, offensive language that a real Democrat would use. It sounds like a phrase out of the GOP playbook, really.
