i can not connect to my interent it keeps telling me my domain name server configuration is wrong how do i repair this
I won’t go so far as to say I didn’t understand what you said, but I WILL say, “I think my blonde roots are showing....” ;o]
That’s OK, though, because some days, I get it all in a heartbeat; other days, I get beat up before it makes sense to me.
(No brains. Just a sense of humor.)
Our PO employees are polite, but slooooooow. I order my stamps on the internet, but I have to wait in the line to mail packages. Now it’s done - sent some language tapes to a FRiend up north.
We have a full-service lobby that’s open 24/7, so in a crunch, I can do it all from there. I even get my stamps from the machine, there.
I could probably get them by mail, but I’d rather have an excuse to go somewhere, not having any kids who need diapers. Or need experience driving... ;o]
I actually wanted Anoreth to go, but she wouldn’t. I’ll get even eventually. (On Post Office time ...)
LOL!
My mother never learned to drive, and my dad was ill, my brothers were already out of the house with families of their own, so I drove my dad’s truck. Without a license.
I didn’t mind, though. My mother wasn’t too demanding in those days. In her later years, she thought she HAD to go to the store every day!
These days, I’m a defensive driver. You never know what someone else is going to do...and here, with all the folks on the roads who are “under the influence of something,” one has to be alert.
Lately, we’ve had a rash of people driving into homes. Last night, one drove into a light pole, and the Tallking Head posed the query, “I wonder why he didn’t wait a bit and drive into a house?”
What kind of solar panels?

On your second question, I would FReemail “SandRat” and ask if he remembers. He posts a lot of the war news threads.
We deposit amorphous Si on glass panels then dope the Si to make the junction. We get lower efficiencies than the single crystal Si but our costs are dramatically lower and we aren’t competing with the chip makers for the wafers. Si ingots are currently at $50/Kg and have gone as high as $200/Kg on the spot market. That’s a lot of money for energy and sand, but that is because it takes a lot of energy to melt Si.
I love the job because it is entirely different from what I was doing before. Well, not entirely. I was programming before, but not in a graphical data flow language. I seem to need to learn an entirely new skill set every 5 years or so to keep making money.
YETCH!
fwiw, i don't have time for much FR & i miss ya'll.

Howya, general! My parents recently went through that with a cousin’s estate in Tulsa. Fortunately, they didn’t have to go there: they gave a power-of-attorney to a cousin who lived closer.
Dad’s cousin died with a classic 60’s Porsche partially restored in his garage. Mom had it shipped to some cousins on HER side who have a boat-and-car business, and they’re going to fix it up and sell it for half the proceeds. (Or keep it and buy her out, if they fall in love with it.)
ONE of the many problems in "going through her stuff" is that my aunt (an RN for 60 years) wrote a massive amount of "notes to self" in an "old-fashioned medical shorthand" that (i'm told by a local RN, whose MOTHER knew the shorthand-the daughter does NOT know how to read it BUT "recognized it"!) was ONLY taught to nursing students in the 1920-1950s period!!!! !@#$%^& ===> i've had NO LUCK finding anyone who can interpret it for me!!!
wish me luck!

Luck! My Dad’s cousin was just rich and crazy. At least he left his estate in English (neatly typed, too, on an elderly manual typewriter :-).
My skill set remained much the same for a quarter-century, but it's now changed completely thanks to my technical committees. Instead of slinging code and designing hardware, I now sling Word docs and design (and deliver) Powerpoints. This afternoon I took a corporate online course in public speaking, to try to improve my skills some more.
You’re so cool when you post in foreign languages!
Nach eil? *\;-)
Sir, you have my condolence. I am rendered speechless by your loss.

Trust me. He eats it up.
Hi, sw!
Do you know what nursing school your aunt went to? If so, why don’t you contact them about her notes? I’m sure they have archives on the methods/classes taught there since its beginning.
Otherwise,
