I've heard that. "Humidston"

Believe I'll be passing through there, two weeks from right about now, on my way to D.C.

You should let me know when you’ll be passing through!

Allegra will be here in a couple of weeks, too.

LOL! My cats act the same way. They really, really want me to let them out so they can “play” with the birds.

A fine Undead FReeper on this very thread (or one of the previous ones, actually) suggested it.

I am surrounded by annoying people at work, so it seemed to fit.

Unfortunately I won’t be leaving the airport. Or don’t plan on it anyway,

I’m sorry that you’re surrounded by annoying people!

I’ve missed seven of the last ten work days - flu and resp infection - and I miss my coworkers very much!

Well, sometime maybe you can stay over long enough to meet us Houston FReepers! We’d love it!

Maybe we’d treat you to Texas Barbeque!

Sorry to hear you’re sick... feel better!

My coworkers are mostly okay, I just work with a Type A who’s under a great deal of stress and is making us all as crazy as he is. Sigh...

Yum!

Sorry to hear about the flu. Our priest just called to say he'd come down with it. Looks like I'll be leading Morning Prayer.

This is a bad one. It held on for over a week.

I had the flu shot but obviously it didn’t work.

Several coworkers told me that, about a month after the flu, they were sick again for a couple of days with flu-like symptoms.

I’ll keep your priest in my prayers.

Ugh. His little girl (1-1/2 years) came down with it first, poor kid.

It may be a different strain of the flu. I seem to recall there are usually two or three that go around and they make the vaccines on what seems to be starting.

I haven’t had a flu shot since I was 10, when it took both my parents to hold me down, and I still through a screaming fit.

Well, whoever guessed for the Houston area this year missed the target!

I’m just glad to be feeling somewhat normal again.

...Tonight: Anasazi Soup

What I want to know is where you found the Anasazis. I thought they were extinct, but you found enough to make soup out of. Who knew?

Pueblo make a fine substitute.

No Zuni though, they tend to go better with rice. :)

Ah. Have you ever tried Mescalero Apache? A little spicy, but interesting flavor....

Simmer in tequila.
