Right now the sun has cast a long shadow over the back bay door...perfect conditions for sitting out and making some frivolous CO2.

YOIKS!

I don’t really like shadows, but some days, sitting in shadows is a good place to be. I hope....:o]

Well, I’ve been watching out for him, and he didn’t drive by here.

I can finally stop wearing pants at work.

No pictures please! (Unless you work for UPS.)

YOIKS!

Drive bys are usually done in the dark. Which is not to say that they are the “ultimate.”

When delivery companies start wearing shorts, I start ordering useless things, just so I can whistle at the legs of the delivery drivers...;o])

“Drive by” means I was here but only briefly. These week-long meetings are a busy time. I’m just on but have to crash because tomorrow is The busy day for me — I’m chairing the “central” meeting.

My daughter loves daffodils; I, however, prefer the hycinths! (Life is good!)

The UPS delivery was the high point of many a summers day.

Especially if he had a big box and he had to bend over and lift. Mmmmmmm nice.

I have a big bunch of daffodils but just a little vase of hyacinths (one sprig of each of the four colors) in the house. The perfume this year is so strong that any more would drive us out. But the garden smells lovely!

Bulbs are easy to grow. Plant em in the fall and forget them.

I went 20 years without a proper garden. Only now do I realize how much I wanted one. But the container garden kept me going.
I wish I had known about this technique back then.

I could have maximized my yield.
