It's not so bad. My next to last meeting as chair and I will rather miss it, or most of it, when it's behind me. But there are other interesting challenges ahead -- I just learned today that I have now been promoted to vice-president of this European manufacturer's association I'm on. This is a little scary...

And right now I am wrestling with some new software for the cellphone, trying to get it to play an MP3 for a wakeup alarm instead of the default ringtones. In seconds I will know if I have it this time... nope. Try again...
