A few days ago, when it was a toasty 98 here, I was feeling pretty good. Since then, we’ve had wind, blowing dust, wind, lower temps, pollens, wind, overcast, wind, and no rain, even though the bottom has dropped out of my barometer. And did I mention the wind?

Why on earth would anyone want to come in out of the rain??? It feels wonderful to turn one's face up to the gentle rain, with it gently kissing one's face (and then, after having rendered one's glasses useless, gently and softly dripping from one's beard onto one's rain shell -- speaking strictly from this one's perspective, mind you *\;-).

I’m so sorry, sion! I should have gone to bed an hour ago, but I just had to stay up and see if anyone else was going to post.

Now, I have an “icepick” headache, chills, fever, gray lint, confusion, difficulty speling, and a rash. But it’s all been worth it! (So far!)
