JUST SAY NO : To John McCain (and ANY "conservative" who endorses him)

JUST SAY NO --- Plan for a Conservative victory in 2012....

Click here...REF PREV "Just say No" THREADS: By: Freeper David Osborne..... ---> FR Keyword: JustSayNo2JohnMcCain <---

JUST SAY NO : To John McCain ^

JUST SAY NO - To John McCain PART II (How the left will destroy John McCain..... MUST READ)

JUST SAY NO : To a third PARTY.. (Republican Party is NOT dead -- YET)

Okay folks here we are.. we all know that the conservative majority in America has suffered a tremendous blow in the 2008 Presidential race.. but the conservative base is STILL in the GAME, and while we are down we are NOT defeated .... YET..

I would like to introduce the --

JUST SAY NO --- Plan for a Conservative victory in 2012....

In the previous threads I and a few other freepers tossed around the idea of conservatives voting FOR the HildaBEAST or OBAMA... whichever the case may be....I would liket to present FOUR (4) reasons why I think this is a good strategy for victory in 2012...

#1 JUST SAY NO ...

- First and Foremost... IF we rally behind McCain we send the message to the RNC that we will ALWAYS pull the lever for the "R" no matter how unacceptable the candidate is.... the argument that we "hate the "D" more than the "R" ---> voting for the lesser of 2 evils is no longer acceptable to the conservative base in America... PERIOD <----

#2 JUST SAY NO ...

- Voting FOR the HildaBEAST or OBAMA in the General Election will give a LOPSIDED VICTORY to the "D" thereby making their win CLEARLY illegimate to the WORLD !! <--- and YES the WORLD watches U.S. Politcs.. and if all the PUNDITS get on board with this plan we can futher the conservative agenda around the world even more... bringing in a 3rd party will ALWAYS result in a LIBERAL victory.. the fact is the CONSERVATIVES are the majority, yet conservatives will split their vote every time.. while the minority LIBERALS stand united and WIN... every time... In a strong TWO-Party system conservatives win EVERY TIME... in a 3-party system LIBERALS win .. EVERY TIME....

#3 JUST SAY NO ...

-- and a VERY important part of this plan.. we need to DEFUND the PRESIDENTIAL RACE in 2008.... sending a dime to the RNC, or sending a dime to McCain sends the message that the Conservatives in America will support ANYONE with an "R" -- and I just can't do that anymore...

#4 JUST SAY NO ...

-- and just as important as #3 is this... we need to divert ALL of our time/money that would normally be spent on the presidential race to the CONGRESSIONAL RACES... and here is why.. we MUST take back congress to keep the HildaBEAST or Obama in check.. there are several obvious reasons for this.. but I would like to point out ONE important but not so obvious reason... and this should help ease the conscience of anyone who THINKS they are "supporting" Obama or the HildaBEAST by voting for him/her... not only will a lopsided "victory" actually be --> GLOWING defeat...<-- the conservatives in congress will be EMPOWERED to aggressively oppose her administration because they will be able to say.. "Yes, I voted FOR you because the RNC candidate was unacceptable.." --- think about this way.. HOWEVER, IF we support McCain, and he actually is able to win (which I doubt) the conservatives in congress will feel OBLIGATED to support his agenda, and it WILL be the END of our TWO-PARTY SYSTEM... This is the MAIN reason why a THIRD-Party approach to 2008 is UNACCEPTABLE... IMHO..

Let's look at it from the other angle. If McCain wins the White House then either he will at least rise to a level that is acceptable to the conservative base (in which case no harm no foul) or you will have 4 years to mobilize an effort to unseat him in 2012. If he does as badly as you think he will then that would likely be a lot more probable than taking on Clinton/Obama after 4 years of satisfying their base. If you really want to look to 2012 as your next chance to shift the Republican party to better match your views you would have better luck against McCain than either of the Democrats.

This needs to be repeated--over and over. Once the Dems get the WH (and keep the House and Senate which they probably will) do you think they won't do whatever it takes from those positions to shut out the R's no less Conservatives from EVER gaining power again?

“If we are willing to turn our government over to the liberals knowing full well they will cut and run in the war - we are not worthy of the soldiers sacrifice.”

Which is why we should not help John McCain into office. He’d sooner cut and run than Hillary would. The reason the left hates her so much is because they know she’s lying about pulling troops out.

Hillary will not allow a failure in Iraq to hang over her for 4 years. John McCain on the other hand, will be all too eager work out a secret timetable with the liberal establishment as his way of “reaching across the aisle”.

Then go ahead and say you are voting for Hillary or Obama. Go ahead and join the dems so you will have a say in policy matters.

Vote for Huckabee or Romney in the primaries if you want, but remember this if McCain is our nominee.

If you stay home and don't vote for McCain in November, you are voting for Barack Obama and MoveOn.org, or Hillary Clinton.

McCain's Americans for Democratic Action rating ranged from 10 to 35 percent for 2004-2006. Clinton's and Obama's ranged from 95 to 100 percent.

I, too, hope for a McCain defeat this fall. Not because I want the Democrats to win but to save the Republican party. If we conservatives go along with the party insiders, we have no one to blame but ourselves for the leftward lurch of the party. The moderate/liberal wing has to be taught a lesson. Call it what you want, tough love, etc. It has to be done.

I am still writing in Duncan Hunter too. Unless another option opens up. I won’t be voting republican, not this time. Except of course for the other offices.

What would people think of banding together and protest voting for someone everyone can agree on, Ronald Reagan?

I would feel like I was commiting a sin if I pulled the lever for Obama or Hillary.

And if you do that, the RNC is going to start giving us Hillary’s or Obama’s, because they will think that’s what you want.

You can send a message by voting 3rd party, or writing in a conservative candidate, and you won’t be compromising your principles.

Anyway, why give up on Huckabee? He just won Kansas by a gigantic margin over McCain.

thanks for posting that link. You answered my previous question. So let’s mount a massive write in campaign for Duncan Hunter. Give the disaffected Republican voters someting to vote for. Time to change my tagline.

Too soon to think that McCain is a “done deal.”

Huckabee almost TRIPLED McCain with votes in Kansas.

Re: “I would feel like I was commiting a sin if I pulled the lever for Obama or Hillary.”

I would feel like I was committing treason if I even touched that lever, let alone pulled it.

“Anyway, why give up on Huckabee? He just won Kansas by a gigantic margin over McCain.”

That is good news. If Huckabee does well enough, McCain will have to move his platform in the RIGHT direction even if he wins the nomination. Of course I will back Huckabee if he actually gets the nomination.

I can’t figure out why McCain did so well when so many conservatives were furious about the McCain/Kennedy amnesty bill.

But then, the early states allowed Dems and independents to vote, and they probably voted for McCain, so that gave him MOMENTUM.

Now that Huckabee won against McCain - THREE to ONE - in Kansas, maybe that will give Huckabee the momentum.

Here's a novel idea but why not vote for a Conservative by writing in Duncan Hunter? That's what I will do. Do you actually think you're making Congressman Hunter's job easier by voting for a Socialist? YES.. and here is why.. go ahead and write in Hunter.. to make yourself feel better... but ALSO check the block for the HildaBeast.. THE large the margin "victory" the more we will be able to de-legitimize the "win"....

If Huckabee wins the nomination, I will back him 100 percent. Even if he makes only a good showing, it will tell McCain that people do not stand with him on global warming and immigration.

sorry not buying that line.. no matter WHO says it.... a LIE is LIE no matter who repeats it... although some would argue that a lie stated often enough has enough “power” in it for many folks to be fooled... sorry can’t fool this guy.... :)

TOWARD VICTORY in 2012 !!

Wow! But I bet Giuliani would have been perfectly a-ok, right?

NOPE.. I supported the ONLY conservative candidate in the race.. DUNCAN HUNTER.. unfortunately our party has too many WIMPS in it right now to stand up and fight for the BEST candidate because they think he "can't win"....... PERIOD...

That’s a great point. Win or lose, the more votes that Huckabee gets, sends a message to Senator McCain.

Washington State had McCain winning by only around a mere 200 votes, but stopped counting the votes after only 87% of the votes were counted. This smells like voter fraud to me.

It might be good to call a talk show about this.

Bill Cunningham is on tonight, and likes Huckabee, although Duncan Hunter was his first choice.

You must call the show right after 10 PM, ET, if you want to have a good chance to get on the show, though.

Cunningham’s # is 1-800-843-2441

MORE MEDIA ATTENTION will force the Washington State GOP to do the right thing.

Huckabee won at least 2 out of 3 primaries, and maybe THREE out of THREE. This might be the start of win after win for Huckabee.

Huckabee CAN win.
