JUST SAY NO --- Plan for a Conservative victory in 2012....

Click here...REF PREV "Just say No" THREADS: By: Freeper David Osborne..... ---> FR Keyword: JustSayNo2JohnMcCain <---

JUST SAY NO : To John McCain ^

JUST SAY NO - To John McCain PART II (How the left will destroy John McCain..... MUST READ)

JUST SAY NO : To a third PARTY.. (Republican Party is NOT dead -- YET)

Okay folks here we are.. we all know that the conservative majority in America has suffered a tremendous blow in the 2008 Presidential race.. but the conservative base is STILL in the GAME, and while we are down we are NOT defeated .... YET..

I would like to introduce the --

JUST SAY NO --- Plan for a Conservative victory in 2012....

In the previous threads I and a few other freepers tossed around the idea of conservatives voting FOR the HildaBEAST or OBAMA... whichever the case may be....I would liket to present FOUR (4) reasons why I think this is a good strategy for victory in 2012...

#1 JUST SAY NO ...

- First and Foremost... IF we rally behind McCain we send the message to the RNC that we will ALWAYS pull the lever for the "R" no matter how unacceptable the candidate is.... the argument that we "hate the "D" more than the "R" ---> voting for the lesser of 2 evils is no longer acceptable to the conservative base in America... PERIOD <----

#2 JUST SAY NO ...

- Voting FOR the HildaBEAST or OBAMA in the General Election will give a LOPSIDED VICTORY to the "D" thereby making their win CLEARLY illegimate to the WORLD !! <--- and YES the WORLD watches U.S. Politcs.. and if all the PUNDITS get on board with this plan we can futher the conservative agenda around the world even more... bringing in a 3rd party will ALWAYS result in a LIBERAL victory.. the fact is the CONSERVATIVES are the majority, yet conservatives will split their vote every time.. while the minority LIBERALS stand united and WIN... every time... In a strong TWO-Party system conservatives win EVERY TIME... in a 3-party system LIBERALS win .. EVERY TIME....

#3 JUST SAY NO ...

-- and a VERY important part of this plan.. we need to DEFUND the PRESIDENTIAL RACE in 2008.... sending a dime to the RNC, or sending a dime to McCain sends the message that the Conservatives in America will support ANYONE with an "R" -- and I just can't do that anymore...

#4 JUST SAY NO ...

-- and just as important as #3 is this... we need to divert ALL of our time/money that would normally be spent on the presidential race to the CONGRESSIONAL RACES... and here is why.. we MUST take back congress to keep the HildaBEAST or Obama in check.. there are several obvious reasons for this.. but I would like to point out ONE important but not so obvious reason... and this should help ease the conscience of anyone who THINKS they are "supporting" Obama or the HildaBEAST by voting for him/her... not only will a lopsided "victory" actually be --> GLOWING defeat...<-- the conservatives in congress will be EMPOWERED to aggressively oppose her administration because they will be able to say.. "Yes, I voted FOR you because the RNC candidate was unacceptable.." --- think about this way.. HOWEVER, IF we support McCain, and he actually is able to win (which I doubt) the conservatives in congress will feel OBLIGATED to support his agenda, and it WILL be the END of our TWO-PARTY SYSTEM... This is the MAIN reason why a THIRD-Party approach to 2008 is UNACCEPTABLE... IMHO..

GIVING the WhiteHouse to the Obama or the Beast IS a defeat of the RNC while grass roots conservatives win the majority of seats in congress is putting the RNC in it’s place without abandoning the Two-Party system..

You are right. Of course they were speaking the truth.

But, we can start now and support good candidates as we find them. Most people don’t know that much about the individual until he gets national attention. So, it will be your duty to explain to the other fighters here why and how they have the credentials to be a candidate and garner support for them.

I trust McCain with the FBI and the Nuclear codes much more than I trust Hillary so there is no choice but to vote for McCain.

No, you have to get more conservatives to the point in the GOP where they are making the decisions about candidates.

Not voting helps Hillary and Obama.

McCain is scary - and I’m not a fan of his in the least - but I am too afraid of terrorists and appeasement to put anti-war people in the presidency.

If we vote for Hillary we will not get any conservative SC judges and that means 40 years of bad laws. We can’t ever give away a chance to stop that.

Voting for McCain is tantamount to voting for any of the Socialist Democrats. You need to look past the R or D after a candidate's name and examine their political ideology. McCain has sided with the Socialist Democrats on too many issues and slapped Conservatives in the face too many times to be a Conservative. There is no choice but to oppose McCain by voting for a Conservative.

I respect the decision you’ve made to fight within the party, I know it was not an easy one. I’m sick over the thought that Clinton, Obama or McCain will be sitting in the White House. I feel like I’ve been kicked in the stomach and I’m down on the ground - and now they want me to crawl to the voting booth and vote for McCain. Yes, out of the three - he is the least. But I feel like that is making me choose between Adolf Hitler, Saddam Hussein or King Herod.

I’m leaving the party. I’ll fight the battle outside of the box. I hope we’re both successful - I know we are fighting for the same thing.

The Republican party has destroyed the two party system already. The GOP has moved so far to the left that it has incrementally aligned its ideology with the Socialist Deomcrats. Voting for a Conservative from another party would restore the two party system.

As someone else so aptly put it.

Conservatives are made to stand in the rain outside the GOP big tent. Every so often someone steps outside to chuck a rock at our heads but when election time rolls around they come out to grab us by the collar a demand that we vote for them.

I agree but it cannot be done nor does it have to be done with a party that has been sliding farther to the socialist left for years.

McCain is scary - and I’m not a fan of his in the least - but I am too afraid of terrorists and appeasement to put anti-war people in the presidency.

Then you should also be scared of McCain by the fact wants to make it easier for terrorists to destroy us from within our own borders. It is a fact terrorists pose as illegal aliens to enter this country. Despite this fact McCain insists on granting amnesty to illegal aliens. A vote for McCain is a vote for terrorists.

ABSOLUTELY NOT !! If you think I would for ONE SECOND.. pray that something bad happens to our nation.. you obviously have NOT read my resume' -- I forgive you :) --- PLEASE -- Go back to the top of this thread and RE-read ALL FOUR points... and if you still don't get it.... we can debate it further....

I don't care what you claim on your 'resume'. And your 4 points don't even begin to address how your strategy doesn't hinge upon a disastrous Democratic presidency. Which it does. Therefore I stand by my statement that you are certainly rooting against the welfare of our nation by purposely campaigning to put a Democrat in the White House with the intention of them doing damage to America so you can ride in on your conservative horse and save us from their destruction. The first part of your plan will likely succeed - you will deliver us to the hands of the liberals. The second part, saving us after 4 years of liberal pain, will not work, because both Clinton and Obama are smart. They will not screw up, and just because you and I will not agree with the direction they take the country does not mean they won't be satisfying their base. So unless there is a sweeping catastrophe during their term either one will be a popular president, and will easily win again in 2012. And their VP will ride the coattails in 2016.

So don't tell me you aren't counting on America suffering damage under a Democrat president. Your strategy shouts it to the world.

NEVER GONNA HAPPEN.. the media will spin a "close election" to mean that conservatives WANTED McCain... and we THE SHEEPLE --- Who obey the every commandment of the Liberal Media spin masters.... The GOP will forever produce RINO's

Guess what - YOU are not the center of the Republican base. The sooner you come to grips with that the sooner you can start focusing your energy on persuading the conservative voters to switch to your views and less on demanding they support candidates that you like over ones they like. Until then, well, like it or not McCain IS who the Republican base want.

NEVER GONNA HAPPEN...look what the GOP did to Duncan Hunter... CLEARLY the best/most qualified candidate... and the GOP rejected him on "name recognition"... what a bunch of wimps... WAKE UP CONSERVATIVE AMERICA !!!

Face it, almost no one knows who Duncan Hunter is. And this may be a surprise to you, but of Republicans that have heard of him, not all agree with him! The platform he stands on is as unpalatable to the center of the Republican base as McCain's is to you. As I said before, if you want the base to change who they want as their candidate you got to change the base, not the candidate.

let me clarify my last post.. I agree with you to the extent that the GOP has struck a huge BLOW the two-party system... raising up a third party will ALWAYS result in a LIBERAL VICTORY every time.... we NEED to preserve the two-party system so long as WE have the majority.. spliting a mojority of folks in half while the other side keeps their base happy will result in the LEFT winning every time.. we can’t allow that to happen....

It's time for us to chuck some rocks and pull up the stakes on the tent while the Socialists in the party are standing underneath the tent.

Here's a novel idea but why not vote for a Conservative by writing in Duncan Hunter? That's what I will do. Do you actually think you're making Congressman Hunter's job easier by voting for a Socialist?

Me too.

It amazes me with all the wonderful people in America - this is the best they can offer for President of the United States of America?

Something is bad wrong in Washington if this is the case.

And, I cannot believe that our GOP would promote a J. McCain for president. He is scary to me, would work with the dems more than us. What is in their minds?

But, you know, maybe we should realize that the best way to defeat conservatives is from within the party and maybe there are infiltrators working their way into GOP leadership. Would not be out of the realm of belief with all we’ve seen in our government.

Especially if they give us a J. McCain to lead this country, or a potential woman dictator or an unknown black with ultra liberal views. Who knows what Obama thinks? Who knows how he appeared from no where.

I would never have believed this could have happened in my America. But here it is. And I’ll be dang if I give away my vote to them.

We are in tough times and we need some fighters. We don’t have time to make statements that nobody cares about anyway.

I agree with all you say on McCain.

We have to admit that we have failed to grow conservatism at this time in our history and start growing it now.

I wanted to start another party - but the word is that it would be easier to work within the GOP and grow our numbers with access to the table. Why give them the party we have built?

The fact that they did give us a J. McCain as our only real option speaks volumes about the GOP. Why are they not growing great candidates for conservatism? The Washington GOP apparently are all moderates with “eastern think” and they are seeking to go in a different direction.

But, this direction will not lead to a secure America, it will lead to weakness.

I know a vote for McCain is scary - but what about giving that vote to Hillary/Obama (both of those are out and out socialists going exactly opposite of where we hope to go)?

We don’t have good choices but at least we can make our 1 vote point to the lesser of 3 evils.

This should be a wake-up call for conservatives. We better start doing something constructive if we want to have a future.

Not exactly. What got us here is accepting the candidates that were put before us. The ones that were the most electable; the ones someone else chose for us. We are demoralized and that’s what they want. They want us pinned to the ground. Instead of being issue oriented all we did was sit here and fight about who was the most electable. We are easy pickins, We were set up and have been set up all along.

We should seriously consider who we are electing to Congress. There are good people out there and we should find them. I am not voting for any incumbent because they have done nothing for us. It’s the global question more than anything.
