We know who John McCain is
9/11 Families for a Safe & Strong America ^ | 2/8/08 | Tim Sumner

Syndicated talk-radio host Mark Levin said this about John McCain last night, “We know who John McCain is … we’ve seen him with our own two eyes, we’ve heard him with our two ears … We smell defeat in November whether he wins or loses.” This is the audio of Mark explaining why.

For many of us who have flatly stated that we will not vote for John McCain in 2008, it is not just resisting the urge to vote for the lesser of two evils, we see McCain, Obama, and Clinton as a wash.

There has been much discussion, bickering and, well, down right fighting lately on FR. The mclamers are attempting to force us to vote mclame just because they say so.

Truth is, the Sgt is correct, just as many FReepers have been in these threads. We cannot vote mclame because we KNOW his record. There is no amount of spinning one can put on that fact to make it right.

What I find most blackly amusing in all of this is the simple, self-evident contradiction inherent in the invreasingly panicky attempts on the part of the Juam McCain shills to bluff and bluster some support out of the conservative faithful.

To wit: if we're genuinely so damned "marginal" and "fringe" as they continually huff that we are... then why, oh, why do they so desperately need our votes in the FIRST bloody place?!?

It's like strolling past a hard, sullen cluster of gargoyle ugly gals in the high school hall one day, and hearing them hiss out the threat: "... well, I'm not going to out with you this weekend!"

Fine by me, ladies; fine by me. Enjoy sulking at home for the next four years, then.

You'll come crawling back around in '12, all the same. You know it... and, more importantly: WE know it.

Kiss kiss, dolls.

Don’t forget that if McCain wins, the will have shown that his behavior is led to his win. He will have shown that back stabbing conservatives is the key to victory. This is another reason not to vote for this guy.

Nope. And I predict Hillary will gain the nomination because the Dems aren’t in quite as bad a disarray as we are, but they are all liberals, and they have their personal/double-secret/private rules on “Super Delegates” which will decide the outcome for Hillary.

And she will trounce McCain, because so many of us aren’t going to vote for him.

I’d like to suggest that the states that have not yet held a primary, withhold there delegates until the election. We didn’t have any say in the nomination, so why should our delegates be credited to McCain? (or Huckabee, which is the same as McCain)

MCPain in the arse is a da*** Demoncrat.

Congratualtions!

You have two Demoncrats to chose from, the arrogant McPain in the arse and the backslidden Baptist, the Huckabilly!

Way to go!!!

Who knows what other dirty tricks they have in mind to get the brass ring ... stealing votes when the other is winning a state .... time will tell. We’re not voting for either Demoncrat, McPain or the Huckster. It’s no wonder the NYT endorsed McPain and all the RHINO’S came t his aid - Schwarzenegger etc...

It seems they can only bully people into voting for them. Truth to them is like Holy Water to demons.

Excellent idea. I think you should post a thread here to all the FReepers in those states stating exactly that.

Maybe it is time for us to be “Mavericks” and betray him back.

“He will have shown that back stabbing conservatives is the key to victory. “

That IS NOT the reputation I would like to carry upon my shoulders. I had to correct someone today who called me a republican. I said, no, I am NO republican, I am a Conservative.

We need one page of these that are fronts and, one page of these for the backs, that we can print and cut, to fill the prepaid envelopes from the RNC and the ACU.

There will be a price to pay for supporting McCain.

We can vote conservative on Senate and House primary seats, and vote for anyone other than McCain on the Presidential seat, including a democrat in the general election.

Mark better hope Hillary will be gracious enough to allow him to run his broadcast studio behind the camp mess.

I had an argument with a co-worker today. He believed that McCain couldn’t possibly do as much evil as Hillary Clinton. I pointed out that while he wouldn’t attempt as much evil as Hillary, he would have a much higher success rate, in implementing the evil that he does attempt.

With Hillary as President, the Republicans will fight her on everything. With McCain as President, many Republicans will support him because they will be loyal to their President, while most Democrats will support him whenever he wants to do something bad for the country (which will be frequently).

Our state had a RINO Governor, a few years ago, who oversaw the largest tax increase in the history of the state. He wouldn’t have been able to pull it off without the support of many Republicans in the Legislature (the Democrats all supported him, of course). The Republicans who fought the tax increase were villified, not just by the press and the Democrats (that’s to be expected, after all), but also by their own Governor, and many of their party leaders.

A very good point. I think this is the reason that my wife refuses to vote for him.

I’m all for that. I have decided not to vote for president if it’s a mclame, hill or obama. I WILL go vote for any conservative who is running.

A sell out I am not, nor want to be.
