Huckabee's Final Publicity Stunt Before Super Tuesday

When we last checked in with Governor Huckabee, ladies and gentlemen, it was in Iowa (the last and only state he has won to date).

But just as Dr. Jeckyl drinks the potion to become Mr. Hyde, Mike Huckabee will "misuse" the media and become "The Huckster".

He's "Huckled" his way back into some free air time.

If you remember last time The Huckster "huckled" his way into the mainstream media, it was when he told the world he had made a "Negative Ad" that he was hart-broken about, and he just coudn't run it.  He was so torn about the ad that he just couldn't make himself run it on the air.

They worked on the ad and spent a good sum of money making it.  Then all of a sudden, the day before it was scheduled to run, and the day after it was completed, Ladies and Gentlemen - Mike Huckabee had a change of hart.

He decided he wouldn't run the "Attack Ad".  But just to prove to the media and the people of Iowa that he actually had the ad, he showed it to the NEWS organizations of America... Who Aired the Ad for him!

Now... if that's not "Huckling"... I don't know what is!

So we're back with The Huckster.

This time, he's decided to tell Mitt Romney like it is.  As a last minute attempt for media attention (similar to the story above), Mike Huckabee has for the first time come head on at Mitt Romney (outside of an attack ad).  He told attendees of a Rally in Macon, GA:

"How presumptuous and arrogant must a man be to assume that if I did drop out of the race that the people who voted for me would vote for him?"

Umm... Huckster, it's true!  Who would be their next choice?  John McCain?  Please!!  You're supporters aren't ignorant.  Apparently you think they are.  I don't think that's ignorant on Romney's part,  I think it would be offensive for him to say they'd go to McCain...

You're supporters, Mike Huckabee, many which are conservatives, are good people who have common sense, and for you to assume they would not go to Romney if you decided to quit, is pretty insulting of you and to your own supporters.

That would suggest that you think they would go to John McCain.  They're smarter than that Huckabee, smarter than you too.

You really shouldn't try to "Huckle" your own supporters Huckster, they don't appreciate that!

Mike Huckabee goes on to say:

"And I want to say something to Mitt Romney: Mitt the people that support me support me because they know where I stand on the issue of human life, they don't know where you stand,"

I beg to differ Governor, Mitt has made his stance very clear.  He's described the moment his life changed and his experience with the issue of human life and American's aren't going to let you manipulate the truth anymore than you already have.

Huckabee seriously thinks the American people are stupid... why else would he try this tactic?  How else can you explain it?

Now... Huckster... There are somethings you haven't been so clear on where you stand.

What about you and taxes... Where do you stand on taxes?  You raised them in Arkansas habitually, and you never once gave a "real" answer about this in an debate.  We're all still trying to figure out just where you stand on this.

Where do you stand on giving a free college education to the children of illegal immigrants?

Mitt Romney  didn't try and "Huckle" his way through the questions at the debates as you did.  I was just having a discussion with a Huckabee supporter the other day and even he wasn't all to confident enough to talk about your position on raising taxes and when and why you would justify raising them.

I think the Huckster should look in the mirror before he storms out with huckling statements like this.

This was but another "successful" attempt by The Huckster, to "Huckle" his way into some free air time and free press folks.

Huckabee supporters, we love you!  We respect you!  And We're waiting for you... when you're ready to join us!

Go Mitt!
