Guess what Happened in South Carolina Tonight?

Fred Came Out Swinging…

And “The Huckster” Mike Huckabee fell flat on his face!  It’s about time someone called him what he is… The Only Liberal on the Republican Ticket.

It was actually a good debate tonight on Fox.

2nd Place:  Ron Paul took some punches and according to the Frank Luntz focus group lost the debate tonight, but I think the Congressman held his own tonight, and it was a little ridiculous to ask him if he has any elect ability.  I’m not a Ron Paul guy, but I thought the question and the way the moderator asked it was a little offensive.  And of course John “Amnesty” McCain took shots at the Ron Paul.  I’m getting the feeling McCain thinks Paul is an easy target, so he’s trying to use him to make his own one-liner sound bites.  But again Paul handled himself well and I think came in second tonight behind Thompson.

3rd Place:  Rudy had some good points especially at the end with his stance on illegal immigration.  I liked what he had to say about his plan to lower the corporate tax.  Rudy has some great ideas and economic plans.  He also stood strong with National Defense and the War on Terror as we would expect from Rudy.  He’s going to be in Jacksonville on Tuesday, for those in Florida.

1st Place:  Thompson won, hands down.  He had all the right answers tonight, he put more than just Huckabee in his place, and he has a great plan for stopping and fixing the Illegal Immigration problem.  He was also strong on terrorism and foreign affairs tonight.  Huckabee… man I would of hated to be Huckabee tonight.  Fred didn’t just call him out twice (and then again with Sean Hannity in an interview), but he called him and exposed him for exactly what he is, I’ve said, it you’ve said it...Mike Huckabee is a Liberal running on the Republican ticket.

4th Place:  Mitt didn’t say much tonight, he threw in a few words for Michigan, not bad but he didn’t stand out at all tonight.  Gave some good words and ideas on the economy, as we wouldexpect to hear from Mitt.  He still came in Fourth.

5th Place:  McCain… he said the same thing he always says.  McCain is a great man, a hero, but because of the Amnesty bill (which he is still trying to defend… even tonight at the debate) and other reasons pointed out on the website previously… I’m not talking about McCain tonight.  McCain came in 2nd to last right above Huckabee.  He was the same old, same old tonight.

Last Place:  Huckabee, Huckabee, Huckabee… The liberal was exposed tonight.  He tried to defend himself with the same old story and “It’s for the Children”.  You know he stood up there and said “For the children” about 16 times in one paragraph.  You know who else likes to use that line?  Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, and every other liberal who tries to defend a decision (a liberal decision) they are challenged about.  Sorry Huckabee, you can’t hide as a liberal in sheep’s clothing for much longer.  Huckabee came in last place tonight.  I know I can’t talk those of you in the Huckabee Cult out of the Cult.  Folks, you can’t talk a cultist out of a cult.  They have to figure it out for themselves.  Hopefully those of you in the Huckabee Cult will come to the “Right” side again soon.  One more time... Mike Huckabee is a liberal.

So we’ve had two so called elections (three counting Wyoming).  So let’s talk about these real fast.  In Iowa they caucus.  They don’t go into a booth, they raise their hands in front of all their peers and the votes are counted that way.  Iowa has a huge evangelical population and it’s a Liberal state for the most part.  Not only that, Voter’s can change their registration at the polls.  Then we had New Hampshire.  New Hampshire, another Liberal state that allows independents to vote in whatever primary they want (Republican or Democrat).

So out of these two, we’ve had Huckabee and McCain and we’ve got the drive by media running around telling everyone it’s over!

Give me a break!  Here’s the deal folks, it’s not even close to over.  We have Michigan and South Carolina next.  I’m telling you now, do not expect your guy to win there either.  Michigan is an open primary, meaning anybody can vote in any primary (republican eletion or democrat election).  So don’t expect definitive results to spring from Michigan.  I have hopes for Romney to take Michigan, but don’t be surprised to see a Huckabee or McCain get a fake victory.

Now in South Carolina, we’re dealing with another huge evangelical population, and again just like Michigan, South Carolina is an open primary (anybody can vote for anyone in any party in the primary).

Now think about this folks, these primaries in these two states (South Carolina and Michigan) plus the first two (Iowa and New Hampshire) are very “Curious” elections.  They’re vulnerable for Liberals to vote in OUR primary and mess with our heads.

Ok back to South Carolina, I give them a little more credit than those in Iowa who were peer pressured to raise their hands for the so called “Lord’s Candidate” Mike Huckabee at the caucus in front of all of their friends, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Huckabee pulled it off in South Carolina, I'd be happier if he didn't but I can't vote there.  However, if Fred Thompson can keep up the momentum and continue chasing Huckabee into the Liberal corner (where he belongs), I think Fred has a good chance of taking South Carolina.

We also have Louisiana and Hawaii again both open (anyone can vote for anyone) so I don’t put much stock into these either.  When there is an open primary I put very little stock into the results, because IT’S NOT conservatives voting for the republican candidates, it's liberals voting for the candidates they think won't stand a chance in the General Election.

Now we also have Nevada a closed primary (Finally Thank God!) and then Florida, a closed Primary.  So for those of us who want to see a real glimpse of who will get the nomination, watch Nevada and watch Florida.  Then we have Super Tuesday, February 5th and we should be able to get a more clear idea of who it’s going to be from there.

Basically, don’t put too much stock into the latest elections, particularly Iowa and New Hampshire.  Those aren't our guys (who won) and it definitely wasn’t us (conservatives) who picked them.  If you're spectating until Super Tuesday, be patient and watch Nevada and Florida.  If you're in Michigan, South Carolina, Hawaii, or Louisiana, please come to your senses and do not vote for Huckabee or McCain.  Thank you.

Until next time folks!

P.S. Mike Huckabee is a liberal (if you haven't figured it out yet)

I’m not sure I’d call Huck the ONLY liberal on the GOP ticket.
