I am not working closely with the Duncan Hunter campaign here in Florida.. if you are a registered FLORIDA Republican committed to Duncan Hunter in the Primary on 29 January Please FReepmail me ASAP..
TOWARD VICTORY
“The University will host the Republican presidential candidates on Thursday, Jan. 24 “
I’m so glad it’s not Fox News or ABC again. Maybe we will have a debate that is REALLY “fair and balanced.”
The debate will be held here:
Here’s the university e-mail pertaining to debate:
Thanks to Floriduh Voter for the info. above.
Here’s what I’m going to do, but use your own judgment about what you want to say. I’m going to contact the college and tell them that Duncan Hunter, who fought for our free speech in Viet Nam, and won a medal, should be allowed free speech.
The FL GOP seems to be run by RINOs, but hopefully there are at least a FEW new people who are more conservative, so I’m also going to call them, and ask them if Duncan Hunter will be included in the FL debate. If they say “No,” or “I don’t know,” I will tell them why he most certainly SHOULD BE included (politely, of course).
Here’s the FL GOP phone # that I have, but haven’t used it in years. 850-222-7920.
btw, if anyone thinks it would be a good idea to call the National GOP, their number is 202-863-8500, but I haven’t used this one in awhile, either.
If anybody has more contacts, or ideas, please let us know.
Thanks!
& please let me know if you want on or off my ping list by PM.
The debates will be held at the university, but who is the sponsor?
The sponsor is not clear.
Who hands out the invitations?
I like you’re thinking.
I went to the site and entered the lottery for a ticket to the debate. I’ll fly down to Boca Raton if I get one.

Good question. Do you know FV?
I assumed they do, but we can always e-mail them and ask them to be sure.
No need to contact The Florida GOP.

I hope you win. Good luck!

Full speed ahead David!! Thank you so much. Were I in FLA I would help you. I donate what I can when I can, and spread the word, but it’s all I can do from here.
I’ve been reading the debate thread running now. They’re talking about how the Ron Paul supporters are skewing every poll....again. It’s been explained how they are able to spam, I’m not a techie, doesn’t matter. BUT, what does matter is, when one candidate is constantly spammed and raised, the other candidates percentages go down. The campaign that really put the hurt on Hunter is Ron Paul. And a lot of the ‘constitutionalists’ would have gone with Hunter, if they hadn’t got sucked into the Paul bandwagon. Tancredo didn’t help either. His loyalists went to Romney, when Hunter was 10 times better on the issue.
I remember reading at the time they were going to Fred.

It would be interesting to see who these guys contribute to.
I’m not sue if I want to know...
Tancredo endorsed Romney. His loyalists went too. Not all his supporters, but the tancredorites did. Probably not the Mormonophobes.
Thanks for the info about the sponsors. Good to know.

That’s a good thing to include with our phone calls and e-mails.
Here’s what happened in Ron Paul’s own State of Texas when the techies couldn’t cheat:
“Duncan Hunter doubled the totals of the next-closest candidate, garnering 534 of approximately 1,400 votes cast. Fred Thompson came in second with 266 votes, and Paul rounded out the top three with 217 votes.
Here are all the results:
Duncan Hunter: 534
Fred Thompson: 266
Ron Paul: 217
Mike Huckabee: 83
Rudy Giuliani: 78
Mitt Romney: 61
Ray McKinney: 28
John Cox: 10
John McCain: 8
Sam Brownback: 6
Tom Tancredo: 6
Hugh Cort: 3”
“he had been the Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee”
That’s right. I also included that in my letter to the editor which was published in a couple of newspapers.
