Dec. 13, 2007... based on the following news stories:
Thompson: debate "monkey business"
At a post-debate campaign stop, Republican candidate Fred Thompson explained his reason for refusing to answer a debate question by a show of hands, calling it "monkey business."
"I just decided that I wasn't going to engage in any of this monkey business that they like to engage us on sometimes -- making us look like trained monkeys reaching for peanut or something ... 30 seconds is brief enough and when they try to reduce your answer to just a hand raise -- I 'aint going to play that game," the former Tennessee senator said.

Its about time someone had the guts to stop assisting liberal debate moderators who are playing “Gotcha” and trying to put conservatives in awkward positions or elicit controversial sound bites.
Republicans should just stop participating in any debate with a history of unfairness or those overtly persuing a liberal agenda with the type of questions they ask, attitude, etc.
Boycotting CNN would be a good start.
The Dems boycotted FOX for no valid reason, didn’t they?

I see Duncan Hunter beside Rudy, one hand in his pocket and the other holding down the podium, Alan Keyes is on the far right (literally and figuratively) and is not even thinking about raising his hand either. Fred is in the very center with the great leadership example. I don’t remember which of the other two is which...

the GOP candidates were asked to raise their hands if they thought climate change was a serious threat caused by human activity. Thompson spoke up saying he didn't want to answer without time explain himself. And he said he wouldn't do a show of hands...

Regardless of the other candidates who didn't raise their hands , Fred was still the one who took initiative and leadership in this monkey business question.
You kind of see Duncan Hunter observing Fred in action, and I hope ( ohh Lord God hear our prayers ) that Fred will chose Duncan Hunter as VP or Sec of Defense.
