Sorry, Bob ... but she was a security person from the church. It's not like she did this as a result of CCW -- it was her job to be armed.
I'm all for CCW, by the way, but let's keep the story straight.

Yes, she was a VOLUNTEER guard for the church. She was carrying her personal firearm under the authority of her Colorado CCW.
She fully fits the definition of civilian, just as much as I do when I carry in higher-profile church events.

She was unpaid. A volunteer. And civilian CCW from what I understand.
Basically, this private church asked this private citizen member to help out in this respect.
This is what CCW is all about.
THIS is the militia.

You will lose this debate. A person who has a CCW volunteers to be part of the Church’s voluntary security.
You can not spin this as: she was a paid security guard just doing her job.
I am sure that on reflection, you will see that you are the person misstating the situation.
