A Cambridge Massachusetts Boy Scout troop was baffled by a city officials rejection of their donation of care packages for U.S. troops in Iraq. Cambridge officials objected that the Scouts donation was political.
Look, the Boy Scouts are a homophobic organization, said Richard Dickman, Community Relations Director for the city. For us to have accepted their donation would have entailed an implicit endorsement of their hateful agenda.
Dickman also contended that supporting the troops like these Scouts are trying to do is not politically neutral. Its saying we are taking one side over another in the Iraq conflict. The City is against this war. We cannot sanction any act that might prolong it.

LOL, the real hatred is the left hatred of the Boy Scouts. The Boy Scouts don’t hate anyone.
Cut off all federal tax dollars going to any organization in the city.
‘Dickman’ calls the boy scouts homophobic.
I swear you cannot make this stuff up.
If I could be President for just one day, my Justice Department would move against Dick Dickman for criminal stupidity and harrassment of the Boy Scouts..
You know what about his comment is striking too? That means that anytime a city does accept something or teams up with some outside organization or group, that DOES mean the city is officially endorsing what that outside group believes and promotes.
Amazing what a ‘tard this guy is.
If you are going to put up satire from your own blog, I wish you would label it as such.
People assume that “News/Activism” is news and activism. Just put “satire” in the title.
Well, the Community Relations Director is living up to his name, and showing himself unfit for the job.
The line between satire and reality grows fuzzier every day. These articles and the ones from Scrappleface could just as well have been written by AP, al Reuters, see-BS, Clinton News Network (CNN)or any of that ilk...
Cambridge was the first city in MA to ban smoking in restaurants and bars. Then, they whined because the restaurant and bar industry wasn't an even playing field.
Cambridge psychos are still in deliberations about how to ban fat people.
Stay tuned for coming attrations!!!
It is very funny satire.
Guy is making it socially and politically difficult for all the gays elsewhere who don't want anyone to know their position ~ and I don't mean "wide stance" ~
But being Scoutaphobic and troopaphobic is okay - these people are worms
