It's a True Crime post with crimes involving dogs.
A fellow saves a dog from sure death but he might lose his job for the good deed. A pit bull attacks a baby so why are the child's parents in trouble? And yes, we have a dog that shot its owner.
Some Baltimore crime and how about those Westboro church kooks?

Voter Registration Fraud in Washington State
This sort of thing is never a sexy story but I daresay plenty of elections have been stolen by this sort of activity. Which does nothing less than disenfranchise thee and I.
From the Seattle Times:
Three of seven defendants in the biggest voter-registration fraud scheme in Washington history have pleaded guilty and one has been sentenced, prosecutors said Monday.
The defendants were all temporary employees of ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, when they allegedly filled out and submitted more than 1,800 fictitious voter-registration cards during a 2006 registration drive in King and Pierce counties.
In fact, that big firing of federal prosecutors snafu took place because Democratic appointed federal prosecutors wouldn't follow through on voter fraud cases. This administration had no choice but to fire these recalcitrant prosecutors which caused the Dems, as they always do, to jump up and down like hyenas and declare Bush was firing fine prosecutors who are doing nothing wrong but following the commands of the DNC.
Remember that Washington state just recently had a very close gubernatorial race. According to the article linked above, NONE of these fake voter registrations were used to cast an actual vote.
But of course not! Pshaw! A pox upon your house and may the fleas of a thousand camels infest our armpits for daring to think such a thing.
Thanks.
I really thought you were pulling my paw. ;)
