BLACKWATER
Tune: "Black Water"

Well, we set us a fire, she's already ragin'
Ol' Californy, she's burnin' with flame
Wildfires jumpin'
The hoses keep pumpin'
Blackwater keeps settin' 'em fast just the same

Old Blackwater, keep on burnin'
Californy fire, won't you keep on clearin' debris
Old Blackwater, keep on burnin'
Californy fire, won't you keep on clearin' debris
Old Blackwater, keep on burnin'
Californy fire, won't you keep on clearin' debris
Yeah, keep on clearin' the site
Gonna take everything, San Diego
Gonna take everything in sight
And they said it was arson
But it depends how you're parsin' that word

If they complain, we don't care
Don't make no difference to us
Just see that mansion that's burned to the ground
Yeah, we'd like to get some pricy piece o' land
And build a training base
And Randi's buyin' everybody drinks all around

Old Blackwater, keep on burnin'
Californy fire, won't you keep on clearin' debris
Old Blackwater, keep on burnin'
Californy fire, won't you keep on clearin' debris
Old Blackwater, keep on burnin'
Californy fire, won't you keep on clearin' debris
Yeah, keep on clearin' the site
Gonna take everything, San Diego
Gonna take everything in sight
And they said it was arson
But it depends how you're parsin' that word

We'd like to get some pricy piece o' land
San Diego, come and watch us buy the land
Buy the land, watch us buy the land, San Diego
All your land to Blackwater are belong
We want a training base, a training base
All your training base to us belong
Buy the land, watch us buy the land, San Diego
All your land to Blackwater are belong
We want a training base, a training base
All your training base to us belong . . .

Excelent work.

Now we need to work the alto descant into words to fit.

Gotta have some “honky-tonk” in there somewhere.

Don't you find it kind of suspicious that Skunk Baxter played pedal steel guitar on the song "Black Water" and now he's a consultant for the Pentagon designing missile defense systems and obviously from what he's wearing in the photo he's now associated with homeland security... Stuff like this is just too hard to ignore.

Bravo! Maestro, that took some time. Fortunately, the loonies will give you plenty more opportunities to use it again. I was thinking along the lines of “Smoke from Blackwater” myself, but that’s the way I roll.

Oh Charles that’s definitely one of your best. You really have to do a “greatest hits” CD!
