Diana's Clash of Civilization
The Virginian ^ | 10/25/2007 | Moneyrunner

It is asserted that we don't understand other cultures. To be specific, I believe that the Left and most people in the center in this country don't understand Islam. If they did, the war would be fought much more aggressively and things like "Islamofacism Awareness Week" would not be greeted by protesters.

But the same can equally be said about Arabs. Even wealthy, well travelled Arabs.

David Pryce-Jones takes the case of Princess Diana and Mohamed Fayed:

The holding of this inquest so long after the event, and the Lord Justice’s remarks, are an amazing tribute to Mohamed Fayed. His son Dodi died in the car with Diana. Rumor has it that Diana and Dodi were in a relationship, to use that euphemism. Fayed has since maintained that Diana was pregnant and about to marry Dodi. In his view, the crash was “murder in the furtherance of a conspiracy by the Establishment, in particular His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, who used the secret services to carry it out.” And the motive? Supposedly it was intolerable that the mother of the future King of England might be married to a Muslim. Fayed uses his position as owner of Harrods, the famous London store, to publicize these accusations as loudly and as often as he can.M/I>

There is no record of British secret services murdering anyone anywhere at any time.

Ah ... right. Sure.

Probably the best known recent case of an MI5 agent committing murders is Mark Haddock, in Northern Ireland.

In other cases, people drop dead before it can go to court. (i.e. Billy Wright, also in Northern Ireland.) An enquiry is pending into Wright's death - he was shot dead inside Maze prison. However, two potential witnesses to the enquiry are also now dead -

John Kenneway was found dead in his Northern Ireland prison cell on June 8 2007 …Kenneway’s death is not the first associated with the Wright inquiry in Maghaberry Prison. LVF leader Mark Fulton, a close confidant of Wright, died in similar circumstances in 2002. Fulton also strangled himself, while lying on a bed. … Jane Winters of British/Irish Rights Watch noted, “There are grounds for concern that two of the potentially most important witnesses who could have given evidence at the Wright inquiry were found dead in very similar circumstances inside Maghaberry prison.”

And this was done by MI5? Proof please. But be careful, otherwise you may just find yourself visited by those black helicopers.

And this was done by MI5?

Yes. Mark Haddock was an MI5 agent. He was later described by the chairman of a police enquiry as a "serial killer", because he got rid of so many people. And no, MI5 did not deny the link.

The official line on this is that it pertains to a situation no longer current, which has been resolved by the Good Friday accords.

I asked for proof, not your statement.

Thank you.
