Isn't it amazing they all have more important things to do to get elected President than to meet face to face with Christian and Jewish leaders who represent millions and millions of votes?
I tell you it is gut-wrenching fear that kept them away.
They are scared to death of the questions. They're scared to death they won't have a good answer. They're scared to death they might say something they will live to regret.
So, all four of the "front-runners" have decided "to play it safe."
Playing it safe means not showing up, making excuses for their absence and hoping they really can take all those values voters for granted. Surely, they will not vote for Hillary! Surely, they won't sit on their hands.

Then it would seem you have a deficient reading or comprehension issue, as I said no such thing. Please do not put words or concepts to my positions. I state them clearly enough to do without addition or subtraction.
Now can you speak to the issues presented or do you simply support the idea that the states should constitutionally define the personhood of the unborn as property?
Well... at least they are all on the same talking points... LOL
...agreed!
Sadly... our friends here are mostly good people... just SOOOOO desperate for leadership that they continue to make the same mistakes that got us FORD in 76 when we COULD have had Reagan then. Got us Both Bush’s. And Bob Dole too. They do mean well... but self delusion is the most powerful of delusions.

Man, you keep a tight (whatever), to wit:
I said no such thing. Please do not put words or concepts to my positions. I state them clearly enough to do without addition or subtraction.
Well, Miss precision, I stated what I think---and not what you said. So, since you mis-stated what I said, you're not really as precise as you would like to believe, are you?
You can reply tomorrow afternoon, if you want your reply read by me...say exactly at 1:31pm.
You are obviously not a social conservative. There are many different issues that we care about and want to know about our candidates. Pro-life issue is only one and that issue has many different facets. It isn’t just about abortion. There also is the end of life issues, assisted suicide, euthanasia, when does life begin? etc.
Other values may include right to keep and bear arms, illegal immigration, health care, property rights, first amendment rights; religous freedoms, religious speech, campaign finance, trade policy, etc. These are all values. Just ask Phyllis Schlafly!
Way more than abortion, wouldn’t you think?
BOGUS NON SEQUITUR!
The question was not anything about who may or may not be seeking to undertake whatever procedure.
The question is specific and you have the guts to honestly answer it or you are a coward who will not.
Do you support the position that States may Constitutionally Define the Unborn as Property?
YES or NO?
If yes, fine !
Vote for Fred... He agrees with that Position and it is the only Principle listed for his entire platform on his website.
NO... well then. You can vote for someone ELSE then, cause this IS what Fred is all about. He does not have ANY other issues listed at all.
This has now been made very clear. So answer or avoid. But you have been called.
Ping to the article.
“Im sorry, but these Christian leaders dont represent me. Im a Christian, but I havent elected a one of them.”
Does Tim Russert and Chris Matthews represent you? George Stephanopoulos? Or is it only Christian conservatives you have a problem with asking debate questions of our candidates?
They don’t “represent” ME either... we just all happen to AGREE on the same world view !
= )
Would I like them to answer certain questions? Yes, but this is also something that comes out in debates and over time.
It doesn’t mean they “won’t get the Christian vote,” though, if they don’t meet with “Christian leaders.”
I’m a Christian and I will make an informed decision regardless with whom they may meet.
No, they didn't. They simply decided to not appear in a debate put on by some group that has proclaimed it represents Christian and Jewish voters. Who decided that these folks are our leaders? I'd never heard of this group before last week. They might represent some Christian or Jewish groups, but they no more represent all Christian and Jewish voters anymore than Union leaders represent all union voters.
I will vote for the person who best represents my Christian values, and who can also be elected by the majority of the US electorate. If that person is not the person the Values Voters folks recommend, because that person didn't attend their debate, then, too bad.
Exactly! I want to hear the candidates respond to a wide variety of tough questions. I would tend to agree more with the moderators of Value Voter debate then any of the previous debates. Plus, when they ask questions on issues important to social conservatives, they won’t come at it with the smarmy liberal slant as those other debate moderators.
To date there have been no serious answers that give the list of possible questions. I even said, later, that there must be some questions on various issues such as abortion, 2nd amendment and gay marriage. Again, no serious reply to that, except one said there more complicated questions to be asked, but did not suggest what they might possibly be. The question is still out there, unanswered. I am not at all "stuck" on a single issue (e.g., abortion).
Obviously, what appears obvious is, in fact, not.
You never heard of....
Phyllis Schlafly, President of Eagle Forum?
Don Wildmon Chairman of the American Family Association?
Paul Weyrich, President of the Free Congress Foundation?
Judge Roy Moore, Chairman of the Foundation for Moral Law?
Rabbi Aryea Spero, of the Jewish Action Alliance?
Chaplain Gordon James Klingenschmitt, who fought for the right of Military Chaplains to pray in Jesus name?
Mat Staver, Chairman of Liberty Counsel?
Rick Scarborough, President of Vision America?
Never heard of ANY of these people ?
For the LUV...
I asked a question. My belief would be that the line of questions would be as specific and direct. But unlike the Liberal Media, the Values Voters are not releasing the questions in advance. So you will just have to learn to wait. Meanwhile, if you dare... answer MY question. Please?
= )
Exactly. Tough, direct and informed questions. On the spot thinking, no advance list and the audience won’t be ignorant either. It should be a GREAT event !!
= )
Are you kidding? None of those are with CBS,NBC,ABC,FOX,NY TIMES,WASHINGTON POST,NPR,etc. Only those connected with these media outlets count for debates. At least according to FRudy McRomney. We must suck up to them and diss social conservatives, doncha know?
