Remember years and years ago, when you were in school? Remember having to wear your itchy Good clothes, gather with your similarly dressed classmates, stand in front of your beaming parents, and sing Christmas carols?
Remember when you were allowed to sing Christmas carols?
My eyes opened a few years ago when I attended my daughters school Christmas concert. This event occurs at public schools throughout the free world, and has done unimpeded for decades. Not that time.

Vouchers and Homeschooling are the solutions. Let parents exert control over who gets the priviledge of educating their children.
I would suggest that some level of government schooling be left in place for the families that don't care or for children who need very special care.
Very true. The problem is, up here in Canada, any move towards sensible solutions such as vouchers and, Heaven forbid! - CHOICE, would be looked upon as ‘too American’.

Sounds like f**kin communists.
It’s obvious what public schools are not teaching kids- basic skills, thinking skills, and the love of learning and discovering.
But there are American children who are receiving these things in their educations. Homeschooled ones in particular.
Not only must parents remove their own children from government schools, they must work together to elect representatives who will shut these Marxist cesspools DOWN. With rumblings among the Baptists about removing their children, there very well may be enough political support to actually bring this about some counties and states.
