The bottom line is this. If Americans want a leader who does not attempt to hide behind the skirt of federalism, does not have to explain why he flipped and flopped like a beached cutthroat trout, and who has always understood that the unalienable right to life comes from our creator and not state politicians or courts, then Duncan Hunter is the only choice...

You are inferring something I have never stated, believed or even thought about. God is the creator of all life.
>>>>>Rudy will be defeated, but that is not and cannot be the only goal of conservatives.
Attacking FredT serves no good purpose. Same goes for Hunter and Tancredo. If you really want to see Rooty defeated, get behind FredT.
Here’s a nice quote for when Duncan Hunter is in the general election against the democrats.
Rep. CHARLIE RANGEL: “No, the truth of the matter is, Duncan’s a real expert in military affairs.....”

If you have never even thought about it, perhaps that’s indicative of how tough this problem is.
Thompson talks of the profound impact of that first sonogram he saw of his daughter, Hayden.
Until then, his votes ALWAYS supported right to life, but it took that sonogram to really cement the fact.
I do not buy into the coronation theory. The same people who are telling me how wise and disciplined Fred is for waiting ‘til the official campaign season (post labor day) to enter the race are calling Hunter’s ascension impossible. If Hunter is polling poorly in January, then we can talk.
The “attacks” on Fred - actually truthful statements about his history - are no better or worse than the Fredheads that consistently try to persuade the masses not to support Hunter because he ‘has no chance’.
Tanc has his own problems, though I agree he is a good, conservative congressman.
Time will tell, but with Hunter in the race, the choice of who to support has never been more obvious, at least since 1980.
He has some adult kids, does he not? Did he need a sonogram to cement the sanctity of their lives? I welcome Fred to the pro-life camp, as I do Mitt. Unfortunately, their prescriptions of federalism are inadequate.
I did not need to think about it. I was taught and accepted at a very young age that God was the creator. I have believed that since my dad and mom first told me, and the nuns wouldn’t let me forget it.
I would change that to be Duncan is THE real expert in military affairs.
Ron Paul, John McCain, Mike Huckabee, Sam Brownback and Fred Thompson are all pro-life candidates. We know that Rooty is an abortionist. We know Romney is a political flipper/flip-flopper.
You don't like the federalist position on abortion. Fine. Your guy is Alan Keyes and his politics are driving you.
Sorry, but if we're ever going to stop abortion on demand from being the policy of this great nation, we have to start by ending Roe v Wade as the law of the land.
Perhaps, like you, he'd "never even thought about" the fact that he did not create his children.
“When Duncan can get over 5%, get back to me.”
Will do, and if you don’t help the best conservative running for POTUS become the front runner, then you won’t be a part of it as the rest of us will.
I did not have to think about, darlin. I already KNEW.
Hi Sun. My guess is you will like this essay.
Uh-huh
“The people get you whatever percentage they get you. In the meantime you campaign your heart out and speak your issues and ignore the naysayers.”
Yes, just as we did when we stopped the amnesty bill. It’s up to us to fight for our country’s sake.
Neither do I. No one is crowning Fred the nominee. That is such silly talk.
>>>>>The attacks on Fred - actually truthful statements about his history - are no better or worse than the Fredheads that consistently try to persuade the masses not to support Hunter because he has no chance.
What utter BS! FredT has knocked down Rooty`s support over the last few months, not to mention in an unofficial capacity. That's what this is all about. FredT is a conservative. He's one of us! You've ridiculed Fred. Nothing more. Meanwhile, your guy is stuck in neutral and going nowhere. That is called sour grapes.
>>>>>Time will tell, but with Hunter in the race, the choice of who to support has never been more obvious, at least since 1980.
That is you opinion. An opinion most Republicans don't agree with. Yes, Hunter`s record is conservative, but his campaign is going nowhere. That will not win Hunter the nomination.
“OT-Duncan Hunter On The Importance Of Human Life From Conception
snip
1. Right to Life Amendment:
I would amend the U.S. Constitution and provide blanket protection to all unborn children from the moment of conception by prohibiting any state or federal law that denies the personhood of the unborn. Likewise, I have also introduced the Right to Life Act, which would legally define personhood as the moment of conception and, therefore, guarantee all constitutional rights and protections, including life, to the unborn without utilizing a constitutional amendment.”

And, Duncan Hunter has a perfect pro-life voting record, and attended the pro-life march in D.C.
Maybe it took until you were pregnant to figure it out. But hey, better late than never.
..shame on you RM
You make us sound like some group headed by Daniel Ortega--and you a Tancredo man...
