By Sunday afternoon, [Spanish-language radio host Javier] Salas was already on radio talking about the arrest, and callers were weighing in too.
Callers were “saying that she was traveling to Los Angeles and around the United States, she would provoke [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] and the anti-immigrant groups,” he said. “There would be checkpoints everywhere.”
Salas questioned why it appeared that mainstream media make Arellano out to be the face of undocumented immigrants, while her actions have exacerbated the animosity toward them.
“She wasn’t down to earth,” he said, adding that Arellano acted entitled to rights “when there’s thousands and thousands of people in the same situation.”
“She made everything worse,” Salas said. “She’s not a face of the immigrants. My family without papers, she doesn’t represent them.”
She’s in Tijuana now so it’ll be easy to slip back in, but once she does the media’s going to cover it and that’s not the type of case study on border enforcement that the “undocumented community” is keen to have. I’m sure most of them are begging her to stay put, but her son’s here and she wanted to attend a vigil in D.C. on September 12 so who knows if she’ll listen?
What a moment if she turns up there next month to laugh in Chertoff’s face. Viva el crackdown!

Heh. Bureaucracies get very upset when you taunt them openly in the press. Guaranteed to get action even from the laziest group of government workers.

What a joke! Chertoff will send his DHS aircraft down to meheco to pick her up and motorcade her from Regan Int. Aireport to the vigil in a limo flying the meheco flag!

Well thank goodness, a voice of reason... kinda.
They still don’t see it’s wrong. It’s because she makes it bad for them who also came in illegal. It should be about being scared and doing it the right way. I know it’s easy to say, hard to do. But amnesty is not the solution and the problem is Central and South American countries treatment of their people; They’ll never improve if this goes on. The million marches should have been done in their home countries... that would make a difference.

When will they see it’s not all about them, we have terrorist cells in this country (a lot who let their visas expire and didn’t show up for their college courses we need to track down). What the hell is wrong with everyone, it’s about those who come from the south because that’s who come here most. If they can’t understand that and want to disrupt with the socialist groups and unions (I still don’t get that one), they need to be gone years ago. We should be tracking the diverted terror links, it’s not like they’re really doing anything on this at the end of the day anyway.
They don’t see if they get amnesty, jihadis do too.
I don’t care who you are, a deportation order from TEN years ago, came in more than once, using someone elses SSN, she should’ve been gone. That church should be ashamed of itself for it’s part in this; Instead of them telling her she was wrong, to go back and that it was a horrible example of right, wrong and the law to her son... the Rev. was an activist and used the church for this.
Our church has an immigration center started in the early 1900s, we make sure they do it the right way. Through the Irish, Italians, Vietnamese boat people till today... they figured out you can’t help those that skirt the law. We had a new pastor come in, I had to speak to him in love (when he wanted us to take a bus to DC with socialist and La Raza based groups... oh and muslim groups re: amnesty),
let’s just say, I went medieval on him. Mercy is not putting people in a slave work situation, in fear/hiding and teaching their kids the worst lesson and it is incumbent for pastors to urge them to do what is right.
God wants freedom, that’s not freedom. As you know, Rev. Coleman of that church is a stone activist who’s more concerned with donations... prayers for him as well. I know many that we helped with funds who turned themselves in to go back and we helped them do it right... they’re middle class already, faster than even we made it... because they worked harder and legal.
She has the nerve to stand behind the bible and announced her ‘public’ fasting. I see she missed a lot of verses.
Has she made any kind of restitution to the person who’s ID she stole? I doubt it. And for her to tell everyone to keep their kids out from school, not to go to work... ridiculous. I was hoping they did. See it would be hard if all the illegals (who actually work), stopped; but after they get deported it doesn’t matter, because we wouldn’t need as much food, rich folks and crooked employers could learn the lesson of doing things themselves and following the law and we wouldn’t have all the social services, law enforcement, hospitals, in-state tuition, bilingual school crap, prisons, gangs activity, previously eradicated diseases, DUIs, murder, ID fraud costs to deal with. When they’re not there to pick lettuce, the wage will go up for Americans and legal immigrants that will and we’ll have a lot less people to pick lettuce for. The cost will go up, but it’s better than my taxes being sky high taking care of those who say kiss my butt to our laws while they suck off the teat and send money back (along with our aid), to their countries.
Americans are not repopulating, illegals are. If these folks are doing the jobs we won’t do for low wages, who the hell pays for all the births, schooling, medical care of their children?

A thought: Rampant liberal sexual agenda and abortion lead to less children and migration (in some form or the other). Look at Europe. They have a flash world map that shows the depopulation while moving to show the migration into those countries... it’s an eye opener.
This is why we should get our society back to the basics re: family and morals.
You would think a neighbor to this country, knowing what we’ve been through and fighting... would help by sealing it’s borders or making sure it’s cash cow was safe at least. No.

What gets me is the Church's role as much as anything. They seem to forget Mat 22:21-"They said, 'Caesar's.'Then he said to them, 'Therefore render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's.'" Caesar (the US) has laws on immigration. The Church should be encouraging these people to follow the laws, because God has commanded us to do so. But, no. They get all wrapped up in their 'missions' and forget, or sometimes ignore, the Word.
Sad, but also disgusting.
I would like to have heard that. How does one go medieval? Do you offer lessons and coaching? I have been wanting to have a similar discussion with my priest, who has turned a certain church over to El Salvador.

She returned in 2000..he is 8 so he must have been born in 1999 while she was in Mexico...
Born earlier than that while she was here the first time and she would have either taken him to Mexico, or left him with someone else..theres no mention of that..
That means he is NOT an Ammerican...
