As more and more of his potential supporters learn about Fred Thompson's choice of open borders advocate and pro-Islamist ex-senator and lobbyist Spencer Abraham as his campaign manager, Thompson's luster as th egreat GOP savior has begun to dim precipitously.
Latest to weigh in are Dymphna at Gates of Vienna, Elaine at Aaron's Rod ( who removed all the Blogs For Fred links to her site) and Deb at Right Truth.
And Michelle Malkin also did a short bit with Laura Ingraham on her national show.
As I said in my piece, no one who's serious about winning the War Against Jihad would want a tool like Abraham anywhere near him.Either Thompson was ignorant about Abraham's background, which means he lacks the judgment to be president, or he knew about it and appointed Abraham anyway...which means that no one who's serious about fighting this war or controlling the borders should remotely consider supporting him.
I think we're done with stealth candidates who talk the talk but don't walk the walk.

You’re delusional.
Run Fred Run
Tancredo has a better conservative record than Hunter.
FRed is the Giulani killer. Come back after Fred torpedoes Rudy’s boat and we’ll talk. Focus on the enemy. Knocking out RudyMcRomney raises all conservative boats.
He has a pretty solid record, no doubt. That’s why he’ll likely support Hunter when he drops out.
That sounds like a political juggernaut.
That reads like your imprimatur on a message of “Speak Positively about Your Conservative and Stop Spreading DBM Propaganda about the Other Guy’s Conservative.” Correct me if I’m wrong.
HOLY SMOKES YOU WERE REALLY IN THE CFR???
We aint gonna give all the credit for torpedoing Rudy McRomeny to the Fredheads. Your guy is gonna have to fight toe to toe with Hunter, Tancredo, Paul and T. Thompson for the nomination.
Much more exciting than a coronation.
I contacted Duncan’s campaign about pissant. They claim to not support such activities but also cannot stop any freeper from doing it. My problem is if they still use pissant for a volunteer for the virtual Q and A thing.
Yeah, they told me they were getting complaints from some freepers. LOL. The Giuliani fans did the same thing. Imagine that.
>...lack of any talk about Hunter’s campaign when he was on with Sean Hannity. I saw him on FOX this weekend, and, again, he didn’t even mention his campaign—and they held him over an extra few minutes.<
Either you are scraping the bottom of the pan trying to find something to hang on Rep. Hunter, or you must have watched a different FOX News broadcast than I did. The interviewer asks the questions, the interviewee answers them, and Rep. Hunter answered straight and true. I appreciated the interviewer’s lack of interrupting, and her obvious appreciation of what Rep. Hunter had to say.
When Fred and Rep. Hunter appeared on Hannity’s Concert show earlier, Fred was given a cream puff interview, and he was held over. After Sean nearly forgot to mention that Hunter is a presidential candidate, and gave him all of 90 seconds to speak, they sicced rude and rabid Alan Colmes onto him
A dignified but affable Rep. Hunter revealed a finer character in how he handled himself under fire during that part of his “interview” than Fred showed in his cream puff interview with the brown nosing Sean. :)

You might want to remove her from your list.
LOL No wonder you're so desperate and negative.
Who?
Here's a rule for bloggers: don't make people think that those anti-New Media curmudgeons have a point. Don't cite each other to the point where people ask in exasperation, "Who the hell are these people?"
I think we're done with stealth candidates who talk the talk but don't walk the walk.
He may be right about Fred, but believe me, no way are we "done with stealth candidates who talk the talk but don't walk the walk." One way or another, that's what we'll get.
>I contacted Duncan’s campaign about pissant.<
With who in the campaign did you speak?
Yes, I know its a mismatch. Pissant and Hunter against the creampuffs.
With whom....
