Yeah, what a sham poll.
A mere six people?
This is known as the “small numbers fallacy.”
And the two parties are not even gender balanced.

I’m sure counterpunch consumed too many cocktails at the LaRaza party when he was on his way over to view the Skull & Bones documentary with 2ndDiv at Michael Vick’s pad and just got confused.

That is ok. You can poll all the people you want when you get to Michael Vicks. Doing enough research will always give you the answer you are looking for.

Who will be the Ross Perot this time that would allow a congressman to win the general election? You do realize that the last congressman to win the White House was Abraham Lincoln, don’t you? Bill Clinton was a governor, not a congressman, yet he never won a majority of the popular vote either time he ran. Back whomever you wish, but be realistic at the same time.

It would be interesting to know if this was a blind judging of the answers ...
Good question..... My guess it’s blind as it would be useless to let the judge know the respondent. But then in reality we know the candidate when we make the decision as to whom we’ll pull the lever for. This is an unscientific poll with no regard to spread among the voting populace: gender, age, party, etc. All this says is that out of six people this is how they graded the answer with no regards to what the populace at large may say.

when you said <1%, but could any provide ANY POLL to show that it was LESS THAN 1%, because no poll exists.
That's because his support is too low to accurately measure.
You'll never see a poll pinpoint support that low.
It has to do with Heisenberg's principle and the whole "margin of error" thing.
But when Hunter's smack in the middle of 5 guys sharing 5%, the math isn't too difficult to figure out.
The only people he's ahead of are Tommy Thompson and Tom Tancredo.
For whatever reason, you are choosing to reject reality and substitute your own.

But your FIRST POST on that thread DECLARED that Hunter was <1%, but yet you didn’t know. You just wanted to make Hunter look bad.
You, sir/ma’am are not to be trusted.

When was the last time we had a mayor win the WH, but yet a mayor is ahead in the polls, (but hopefully not for long, because Mayor Giuliani is a partial-birth infanticide liberal)?
These are different times, and modern history WILL BE MADE!

Duncan Hunter is being interviewed by Julie Banderas on Fox News Channel right now.
She seemed amazed at how many emails they’re receiving. :)

One of the traits of a lib is thinking that an early poll is a “done deal.” That’s why liberal MSM tv has them so often. Their lib viewers like them.

When all the polls show Duncan Hunter as “—” under the percentage column, that’s THE SAME THING as <1%.
It’s sad you are actually trying to hide behind the mathematical limitations of opinion polling.
Your argument is but semantics.

No one is saying the polling is a "done deal."
We're just saying that right now, as it stands, Duncan Hunter is polling at <1%, or "--", if you prefer.

Mayor Rudy Giuliani is down more than 8 points in the polls, but John McCain’s implosion has overshadowed that drop. IMHO Rudy will not get the GOP nomination, but if he does, Hillary is a shoe-in.

I agree, and if it is Rudy (which I also doubt), voters will stay home or vote 3rd party, as they did in 2006.

That is great! I’m sorry I have food on the stove and am missing it. (have to feed the family though) :)
I sent out a big ‘Hoorah’ from Hunter’s Rangers.

According to the IowaVotes2008 website, none of the candidates’ names were attached to the answers until after voting was done.

According to the IowaVotes2008 website, none of the candidates names were attached to the answers until after voting was done. I was hoping that was the format they used. To bad they didn't have a couple of hundred people grading the answers ... six just seems to be to few!
