Creating a new account will not help until the folks at “meetup” create a Duncan Hunter category. I am working on the problem, hopefully they can transfer the group to the new category once it is created, otherwise we will all need to re-register.. It is being worked on at this time.. I already paid for the site so that should not be an issue..

In the meantime I think it would be FUN to see if we can get more Duncan Hunter folks in this group than Fred currently has in his group.. if everyone reading this thread registers for this group we will do that easily.

I am working on getting meetup admin to fix the URL so that Duncan Hunter is not UNDER "fredthompsom" URL.. WIll likely be Monday before they fix it. In the meantime please REGISTER anyway.. it would be great to have the largest "Fred Thompson" group actually be the REAL Duncan Hunter group..

I dont know.. in the meantime, we only need 25 more members and we will have the LARGEST “Fred Thompson” subgroup.. which is really the Duncan Hunter group, until meetup admin fixes the URL..

no problem.. There seems to be an “issue” with getting the Duncan Hunte url set up on the site. I am not sure what the problem is, but I hope it gets resolved quickly, so we can start getting the word out and organizing Duncan Hunter groups.
