She won't be Queen - at least not after a few years. I mean, c'mon, Americans voting in a large Republican Congress would be obvious after seeing the Clintons in power once more. (Hey, the RATS aren't in the lead by THAT much.)
Billy Jeff will be free to troll the grounds for fresh meat. Hillary, with a new stash of ashtrays, can invite any terrorist pal to the Rose Garden. But if the Republicans can regain the House and Senate, her behind would mean less than it does to Bubba.
Hillaryhealthcare? That died last millennium. Higher taxes? Not for long. Chelsea on Air Force One? She's still dating like her so-called father - no?
And yet ...
My thinking has shifted so much on this one that put up against the low-sodium Democrat approach taken by so-called Republicans Giuliani, McCain, Romney, and others, I'd almost rather it be put on her and her Democrats.
If elected, Hillary would become so enormously unpopular so quickly that she'd debilitate Democrats. She'd be a disaster for the Democratic party (which is why I don't think she'll get the nomination). Republicans would be poised to offer the philosophy of less governmnent!!!
I'd rather see Republicans stand by a party that contrasts with the alternative. If today's Republican leadership represented a party that was more than low-Sodium Democrat philosophy with regard to government being the "solution," I'd care about Hillary and Rs vs. Ds in committees, etc.
But at this point, really -- let the Democrats have it and the blame. I never thought I'd think this way, but ... *shakes her head* ...

It would be bad, yes.
Expect every conservative enemy the Clinton’s have made until now to be targeted. And do NOT count on Hillary being easily distracted by sex as Bill was. She’ll be entirely focused on consolidating power and advancing liberalism at all costs. She’d have more of a legitimate power to do, unlike last time when she was the first lady ..... unelected to do what she tried.
BTW, a Liberal Republican would be just as bad, just in different ways.
The question isn’t really if Hillary being President would be that bad. It’s whether allowing another LIBERAL or “moderate”, Republican or Democrat, in the Oval would be bad. And that answer is YES.

I've been reading posts from the completely irrational Rats Underground. They are so off the handle, Dubya throwing waste in the recyclable container should get him impeached. There seems to be a TON of people jumping to conclusions.
Yes, any liberal presidency would suck.
Imagine hillary, gore, breckgirl, obama, or any liberal with the power to issue an executive order; make judicial nominations; cabinet appointments; veto legislation; grant full pardons; appoint ambassadors, ministers, and consuls; and negotiate executive agreements with other countries. Even with a conservative majority in congress I would have to say no thank you.
Today, barely half the electorate pays income taxes — and many of those, enough to make a strong majority, pay in the lowest brackets. These people have no incentive to reduce taxes and no problem with piling more onto the minority. All it takes is a political leadership willing to divide the payers from the takers with a little demagoguery thrown in for spice. With Hillary, you’d have that. If Bill could get taxes raised, Hillary will have no trouble at all.
And how would it be that Hillary sweeping to victory by bringing Democrats to the polls would result in Republicans taking back Congress?

Dems have the house and the Senate and 2/3 of the country's judges (and 4 of 9 at least on the Supreme). I'm pretty sure that she isn't working alone.

Yes, it would suck. 2000 and 2004 were very much, for me anyway, all about the Supreme Court. 2008 will be even MORE so. The next president could very likely make 2-3 picks for the SC, and that could shape it for many many years to come. Imagine if Gore had been president for the last 8 years. The SC would be decidedly liberal.
That's kinda my point. That last Senate and House takeover was a MASSIVE surprise - even to the RATS. Once the Republicans run against her imperialism, the good guys should own the House and Senate for a good long while (as long as they get their act together)...
Kerry supporters seek therapy in South Florida
Boca Raton trauma specialist has treated 15 patients

More than a dozen traumatized John Kerry supporters have sought and received therapy from a licensed Florida psychologist since their candidate lost to President Bush, the Boca Raton News learned Monday.
Boca Raton trauma specialist Douglas Schooler said he has treated 15 clients and friends with “intense hypnotherapy” since the Democratic nominee conceded last Wednesday.
“I had one friend tell me he’s never been so depressed and angry in his life,” Schooler said. “I observed patients threatening to leave the country or staring listlessly into space. They were emotionally paralyzed, shocked and devastated.”
Schooler’s disclosure comes after the weekend discovery of a Kerry volunteer’s corpse at Ground Zero in New York City. Georgia resident Andrew Veal, 25, reportedly killed himself with a shotgun blast to the head due to Kerry’s loss and a girlfriend problem.
Some mental health professionals in South Florida said Monday they have already developed a new category for the Kerry-related stress reactions. Because Palm Beach County voted heavily for Kerry, the therapists said, many residents hurt themselves by so anxiously expecting the Massachusetts senator to win – especially those who maintained unrealistic recount hopes after their candidate’s concession.
“We’re calling it ‘post-election selection trauma’ and we’re working to develop a counseling program for it,” said Rob Gordon, the Boca-based executive director of the American Health Association. “It’s like post-traumatic stress syndrome, but it’s a short-term shock rather than a childhood trauma.”
Gordon, the first American Red Cross psychotherapist sent to Ground Zero after the 9/11 terror attacks, said therapists’ main concern is to prevent the recurrence of Kerry-related suicides like the one in New York City. “There are definitely people depressed by John Kerry’s loss, and this can easily lead to suicides like the one we saw up in New York this weekend,” Gordon said. “Luckily, it can be treated if people seek help. We’re urging people to call us immediately if they feel depressed or know anyone who is seriously stressed out.”
Also in Boca, at least one counseling center and an emotional support group were preparing for an influx of Kerry supporters at their first post-election meetings today.
“We’ll let the Kerry voters talk about it and let off some steam, and by listening to other people’s stories, we’ll help them refocus and surrender to the things in their life which they can’t possibly change,” said a spokeswoman for Emotions Anonymous, a recovery group meeting tonight at Glades Presbyterian Church.
“We’re referring people with election-related stress to the Democratic National Committee,” said Karen Jacobs of the Center for Group Counseling. “We’ll do what we can for anyone who shows up for our support group programs this week, but we haven’t implemented a specific program for Kerry-related trauma.”
Schooler, practicing in Boca since 1984, said he treated his 15 patients last week with hypnosis-based rapid response trauma therapy. This week, he is charging a sliding fee to non-clients who feel they need the one-time “election therapy” session. South Floridians can contact him at 561-395-3033.
“A lot of Kerry voters don’t know what to do with their anger, because there was no recount, so they’ve kept it bottled up,” said Schooler, who also is a certified sex therapist. “I help them transform the anger into more positive emotions.”
Asked to describe symptoms of the post-election trauma, Schooler said, “They include feelings of extreme anger, despair, hopelessness, powerlessness, a failure to function behaviorally, a sense of disillusionment, of not wanting to vote anymore – that sort of thing. We’re talking about a deep, unhealthy personal suffering that can best be remedied by intensive short-term therapy.”
