We are holding Rudy and Mitt to the fire about their past on abortion. Lets not forget Fred Thompson.
Abortions should be legal in all circumstances as long as the procedure is completed within the first trimester of the pregnancy. Link
A very strong statement from Fred Thompson when he was running for congress.
So, do we need to run to Ron Paul or Duncan Hunter?
Duncan Hunter would make the best president out of everyone who is running or not running.
I would be happy with a Thompson/Hunter team OR a Hunter/Thomson team!
One shouldn't be amazed when considering support for POTUS of the greatest nation on earth, one should just do what's best as an individual with reason.
“We are holding Rudy and Mitt to the fire about their past on abortion. Lets not forget Fred Thompson.”
Now how many decades ago did Fred make a pro-choice statement?
It is truly sad when ones’ favorite candidate is so pathetic that they have to attack others rather than pump up their own candidate.
“Duncan Hunter would make the best president out of everyone who is running or not running.”
Yes he would.
Did you know that in some polls he behind even Ron Paul?
Supporting the death of unborn babies is the best thing that an individual with reason can do? No thanks, I’d rather not support a pro-death candidate.
“Now how many decades ago did Fred make a pro-choice statement?”
So what? Mitt Romney made his statements in support of abortion a long time ago, but he is still attacked for making them. Why shouldn’t we be concerned about Fred Thompson’s support for murder?
They have been attacking Romney from day one. And Rudy. Now Thompson gets his turn.
Doesn't matter what Thompson said about abortion back then. His voting record, 100% pro-life and 0% from NARAL, is all that matters.
Hunter supporters are really doing their candidate a disservice as he tailspins into obscurity.
Fred Thompson doesn't support abortion, and lying about his record is against the rules here, bub.
“It is truly sad when ones favorite candidate is so pathetic that they have to attack others rather than pump up their own candidate.”
So then why do the high and mighty fredbots spam Duncan Hunter threads with “he’s unelectable”, “he should be Freds VP”, and the classic “Duncan Who”? Could it be because they are trying to prop up their less than stellar conservative?
At least when I criticize Fred Thompson, I point out his statements and voting record instead of thread-spamming like the fredbots do.
“Did you know that in some polls he behind even Ron Paul?
“
Did you know that polls this far ahead of an election mean absolutely nothing?
Good luck in your endeavors in finding a candidate who fits your bill and states that they are not pro-death.
Lying? You do realize that he actually made this statement, right bub?
Thanks but I already found my candidate.
First of all, I haven't seen any "Fredbots" spam Hunter threads with negativity about Hunter. We can easily point out Hunter's love of big-government and pork, but we don't unless the Hunter supporters trash Thompson first.
We have nothing but praise for Hunter, he is an honorable man who served, is strong on social and military issues, and yes, he'll make a strong VP or Secretary of Defense. But Hunter supporters do their candidate no favors when they can't make the case for their guy.
Could you please reference the "quote"?
OK, you pointed out his statement on this issue. Now point to his voting record on this issue and only this issue. You started this thread and it's titled about abortion...so tell us Fred's voting record on abortion.
Try clicking the link.
“The National Political Awareness Test (NPAT) asks candidates which items they will support if elected. “
“9. If elected to Congress, which of the following general principles or specific proposals will you support concerning abortion?
X Abortions should be legal in all circumstances as long as the procedure is completed within the first trimester of the pregnancy.”
Are you satisfied?
