This is about a week old now, but if you haven't seen it, watch until the very end when Edwards answers the question "right or privilege?"
Here's the full transcript of the "Right or Privilege" portion:
Question: A college education?
Edwards: Right.
Q: Health care?
E: Right.
Q: A livable wage?
E: Right.
Q: Owning a handgun?
E: Privilege.
Q: American citizenship for someone not born here but has worked here for one year?
E: Working for one year? That's a hard one, because I think people have to earn citizenship. I think I would have a period be longer than one year.
Q: Five years maybe?
E: Five years for sure.
Q: Access to the Internet?
E: That should be a right.
For the record, the only item that Edwards thought was a privilege, and not a right, was a right found in the Bill of Rights.

Silky Pony should concentrate on brushing his mane and checking on the construction of his 28,200 square foot North Carolina mansion; that and fighting for the poor.
And this guy plans (meaning he is running for President and assuming he wins [God have mercy on us!]) to swear an oath to defend the Constitution but believes gun ownership is a privilege?!
*shakes my head*
checkout the makeup on this one, all that is missing is the lipstick
A livable wage? Is this pandering to the dead vote or what? (because this obviously doesn't apply to living workers)
Wow. I thought this thread was meant to parody John Edwards. I’m wrong apparently because I just saw the video.
What the heck do they teach people in law school for Edwards to think access to the internet is a right while owning a gun is a privilege?
I mean. Wow.
