The theme of the article has absolutely no relevance to the argument over immigration policy. Mexicans could be the greatest, noblest people on the planet; it would not make it desirable to incorporate tens of millions of them into the population of the United States!

People are not interchangeable. Mexicans are unique, and so are the well-rooted peoples of America. There is no reason to try to replace the one with the other in the domains of either. The idea of an interchangeable ethnicity is an insult to every people, but it has been aggressively promoted for the last sixty years by various Leftist groups and theorists, almost all of which have one thing in common: They favor a one world Government, which will suppress the independence of all nations. It is an objective that ought to be resisted with every means at our disposal.
