“*ding*ding*ding* Conservative ‘ideology’ is based on a quicksand quagmire of lies, distortions, and deceptions, which inevitably leads to burning books they hate and the authors who wrote them.”

Whats the difference in burning books because you hate the author and calling for a radio host to be banned just because you hate the host?

Do these people not see how stupid they sound?

I wish they could name me some books that Conservatives have called to burn, just because they hate the author. I am betting they won’t find any.

Thanks for the ping! ------- I will tolerate Rushbo's lies as long as I know there's an alternative on the dial to his bile. As long as there is diversity on the airwaves, there should be room for all types of political and social speech. The problem is when those airwaves are controlled by a handful of hands and our choices of who we listen to are limited. [The problem is that liberals consistently FAIL on the airwaves. Look what happened to Al Franken, Jim Hightower, Mario Cuomo, Err America, etc.. They all FAILED because of LOUSY ratings, not because of some secret conservative conspiracy.] ---------------------------------------- Image and video hosting by TinyPic We have a winner!! :-) These idiots honestly believe that THEY aren't allowed on the airwaves--please! The majority of Americans (even liberals) realize how stupid their explanations sound out loud on the radio and they won't even listen or support themselves!!! Not Rush's fault, or Sean's, or Dr. Levin's, or Laura's, or anyone else's that the people who make the most sense (ie: CONSERVATIVE talk show hosts) have the highest ratings of all! :-) No VRWC here, for Pete's sake. ;-) Just supply and demand, basic economics.

Shhhhhh Actually we did have a secret conservative conspiracy to give them lousy ratings. I used to work for Arbitron and it is much easier to manipulate their computers then it is to hack voting machines.

Juat doing my best to FUD the DUmmies

You’re talking about Heath (I used to throw that football) Shuler. Yes, he DID vote for that bill. He does whatever Nancy tells him to do. Yes, I do think he can be whomped in the North Carolina 11th District, next year. And yes, I hope I will be the Republican nominee to do that.

Are you in the same NC congressional district as Cherokee? The reason why I ask is that my Miami Herald liberal nemesis now lives there. It would absolutely KILL her if a PJ pal became her congressman in the next election. I mean it would DEVASTATE her!!! Hee! Hee!

HEY! I checked checked out the blog of my Liberal nemesis and it turns out that Heath Shuler IS her congressman. You know what? If you get the nomination for that position, there is a definite possibility that Ol' PJ will be heading your way for a week or two in '08 to help with your campaign. I'm willing to stuff envelopes or hand out flyers or whatever. My payback will be partly knowing that it helps in your campaign and MAINLY because it will make Liberal Liz absolutely MISERABLE. Since Shuler voted for the sellout bill, you will have an EXCELLENT chance to get elected if you get the nomination.

BTW, is that loser Republican congresscritter from before going to try a comeback?

Taking away a man’s living without proof of violation of the law is vigillante justice we haven’t seen since the lynching of Emmett Till.

That’s a bit of an overreaction, don’t you think? The comparison to Till is ridiculous. Imus didn’t have to violate any law, just the corp’s pocketbook.

Imus is an idiot, and furthered his idiocy by running to Jackson and Sharpton.

BTW, of all the emotion filled angst over Imus losing his job, I’d like to see a poll of those to see how many are Imus fans and listeners; just to see a poll on objectivity, as it were.

I would be honored beyond words to have you take part in my campaign in the NC 11th. I am not at all picky about your motives. Sticking it up the nose of a liberal nemesis who lives in Asheville is as good a motive as I can think of.

The former Congressman, Charles Taylor, is making noises about running again. I don't think he will; here's why: 1) the last election showed him that he is political road kill, and that situation hasn't gotten any better. 2) Being a possible candidate allows him to raise money for his "campaign," and that allows him to put in his own pocket up to the $1.6 million that he loaned his campaign in a vain attempt to hold onto his seat in 2006.

Give me a call at home, at your convenience. I'm in the book in Highlands, NC.

Did you used to live in Salisbury, MD? Guess where ol' PJ was born?

We lived in Ocean City but I was born in Salisbury. My dad used to dig up clams there and puree them with my milk for me to drink when I was a baby. Even back then I sort of liked exotic food.

Stupid DUmmy’s, I guess it wouldn’t do any good to point out to those idiots that Imus was one of them.

Yes, I did live in Salisbury, Md., from age 3 months to age 7 years, at 205 East College Avenue. My folks knew Frank Perdue when he sold eggs from his father’s chickens, door to door.

We gotta get together, regardless of any campaign.

I left Maryland for West Virginia before I could remember it. Come to think of it, I also left West Virginia before I could remember that too. My very first memory of life is the waves of Lake Erie splashing up against the beach of Geneva On The Lake in Ohio. However, I used to criss-cross North Carolina when working the NASCAR circuit. No, I wasn’t a driver or anything even close to that. I was selling sunglasses at those events. One of my best days, I sold sunglasses in the rain. I took a bad situation (who needs sunglasses when its raining?) and turned it around in my favor by calling them “all weather glasses” and acting like I was happy it was raining because it gave me an opportunity to demonstrate how great they were.

“Make no mistake about it, Don Imus deserved to be fired.”

I got to disagree.

Imus deserved to be fired at least 25 years ago. I’m sorry but going out into the hallways of WNBC and using the N-word on black people he saw there is to me a firing offense. Even Imus himself confirmed on Larry King that he used that word on people in the hallways. Sorry, its not a matter of PC here. If I had a business where one of my employees was calling black employees the N-word, he would be fired on the spot. This isn’t being PC. It is about common courtesy and Imus far overstepped that line.

These motherf*ckas usurped free elections in the United States. . . .

Wait a second! The Diebold whine went out the window last November, when you guys actually won an election for a change. Didn't you get the memo?

I have some 'conservative' acquaintences who don't use hate speech. . . .

Because they don't use it around you. Doesn't mean they don't use it when you're not in their company!

If a hate speech falls from a conservative's lips, and there's no progressive around to hear it, does it make a sound?
