Surprisingly I didn't find this posted previously, but Newt and Kerry are going to debate the environment. The link is to yesterday's heads up in the Washington Post Blog site, but now Drudge is linking to a report in today's The Hill, stating that the debate is set for next Tuesday, April 10, at 10 a.m. in the Russell Senate Office Building.

If Gingrich really wanted to show this scumbag for what he is, he should be debating national defense, the dispicable state of the Congress, and open borders. So instead of REAL SERIOUS ISSUES, they talk about the three-toed lizard...God help America.

Wasn’t Kerry a veteran of the Viet Nam War?

The only problem with this is that HorseFace doesn’t have enough brain power to KNOW that he got destroyed.

I wouldn't be so sure. I seem to remember how he and Hillary had a love--fest when they talked about health care.
In fact, I think it's even money whether or not Newt ends up agreeing with Kerry.
Is this thing going to be televised?

This debate should be very funny, Kerry will make an even bigger fool out of himself.

If Kerry is trying to position himself as the Newt of the democrat party wouldn’t he have to, I don’t know...like come up with some ideas?

Based on the preview provided by the story and the quotes from each debater’s camp, Gingrich does not plan on confronting the CO2 fallacy. I’ll bet this debate hits with a big dud.

Newt Schooled Edwards in their debate about how to care for the poor, so it will be interesting here.

Is that even possible, at this point?

What is Newt’s position on Global Warming? Is this going to turn into a debate on who can figure out the most ways to conserve the energy and who can best develop alternative sources of energy the fastest? I get the feeling that the two agree more than they disagree in terms of our energy policy.
