Surprisingly I didn't find this posted previously, but Newt and Kerry are going to debate the environment. The link is to yesterday's heads up in the Washington Post Blog site, but now Drudge is linking to a report in today's The Hill, stating that the debate is set for next Tuesday, April 10, at 10 a.m. in the Russell Senate Office Building.

If Gingrich really wanted to show this scumbag for what he is, he should be debating national defense, the dispicable state of the Congress, and open borders. So instead of REAL SERIOUS ISSUES, they talk about the three-toed lizard...God help America.

Wasn’t Kerry a veteran of the Viet Nam War?

“Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) seems to be trying to position himself as the Newt Gingrich of his party.” “
I can’t stop laughing.

Based on the preview provided by the story and the quotes from each debater’s camp, Gingrich does not plan on confronting the CO2 fallacy. I’ll bet this debate hits with a big dud.

I hope they make the podcast available of it.

This should be an interesting, although somewhat one sided, debate. Newt will come fully prepared and Kerry will be his normal clueless self attempting to bring his miniscule VietNam experience into it with imagined memories of Cambodia.
To: NECAWA
This will be hilarious.
Newt may have his shortcomings...but he is brilliant and articulate. Kerry will look like.....exactly what he is:)

Either Newt isn't running or he is the first known person to be running for VP.
I think it's time Newt fans get serious about who their second choice will be if he doesn't declare a candidacy.
