Right, lets see how you gyes deal with a hostage crisis....Our leaders have no more guts than your leaders--don't bother waiting for us to do something.

Just look back to November, 1979 and Jimmy Carter...
On second thought, ignore that.

Right, lets see how you gyes deal with a hostage crisis.... I agree that it sucks to be you right now but it is not America that removed the UK's testicles. You lot did that to yourselves and lashing out at us will not help you find and reattach them. So buck up, get it sorted, and do it for Queen and country (or something like that). Cheerio!

Right, lets see how you gyes deal with a hostage crisis.... Weakness begets weakness. That's why we have to stand up to the thugs in the first place. It might "seem" more humanitarian and sensible to negotiate for hostages in each case, but every time we do, it leads to more incidents.

Very true. But I doubt if the US media will chastise Tony Blair if he calls them “hostages”.

Right, lets see how you gyes deal with a hostage crisis.... Touchy today, aren't we? A little difference between civilians arrested in a country and military personnel outside a country surrendering without a fight.

That's a joke right? Perhaps you missed 1979? Expect the same now. We wouldn't want anyone to not like us, or think we are bullies or anything like that now would we? We are all about winning hearts and minds, please get with the program.

No kidding. The bluster seen on FR over the Brit hostage crisis has been comical, since it’s clear that Dubya and the USA wouldn’t have done anything different at all.

This will be interesting. A good time to overthrow Chavez and his Citgo mafia.

Big difference here. Your guys are military acting on behalf of your country. The Yanks in Venezuala were there of their own bleeding heart accord. I wouldnt want our government to do a thing.

I imagine that our Congress will capitulate and offer Hugo tons of “aid.”
