The ants are waching us watch them? Pass the magnifying glass please.
Funny, I always thought this is the liberal definition of tolerance.
Who spits at troops? Who throws eggs at Limo 1 on inauguration day? Who smears feces on the walls of recruiting stations?
LOL! :-)
I think I'm one of the few with an iron-clad stomach who can travel over there, although admittedly only for short amounts at a time.
Kind of like radiation.
I'm snagging your graphic to remind me to wash my hands when I come back! :-)
He's hugh with the dummies--really really hugh!!
Basically he acts like a conservative but he's really a RINO...oh, and he's had Ben and Jerry name some ice cream after him.
I've been boycotting B&J for years now, so no big loss.
I do believe Colbert's ice cream is full of nuts, though, if that means anything...
I thought that was the beauty of living in the basement? You just throw the clothes on the floor and they are ready for mom to wash on laundry day.
Beethoven, Verdi, Shakespeare, Plato, House, 24, Frank Miller, Battlestar Galactica, SG1, Michael Crichton, William F. Buckley, Rush Limbaugh,...
Plus all the money we steal from the poor to enjoy these things on our giant 50 foot plasma screen TV's. 'Though lots of times I just have the Met fly in and do private performances for me. James Levine is just like a hobbit in person.
I think it's PPP himself--a la Psycho.
HAHA! See my #72.
I doubt the boy, too.
Celtic Folk or Celtic Folk inspired, for the most part. Anything from The Pogues to Black 47 to Tommy Makem to Ewen McColl. Got a special place in my heart though for Canadian Maritime folk... Stan Rogers, Ashley MacIsaac, Natalie McMaster, Great Big Sea...
or what films they watch?
Some Marx Bros -- Groucho is God.... I don't mean that figuratively... I mean that, though I don't believe God has a physical form, when I imagine Him Having one, I reflexively picture Groucho.
Outside of that... a little anime.... Miyazawa, of course. Almost anything Shakespeare.... Kenneth Branagh and Derek Jacobi are my two favorite actors.
I don't have time for much movie-watching anymore, though. I read and hang out on the Internet more than anything else.
For instance, do they EVER see stand-up comedy??
I got two words for you: Denis F*****' Leary.
And if that doesn't make a few of their unimaginative minds explode.... Y'know, for all I'm having troubles with FR and hanging out on DarwinCentral.org a lot more... It's DUers and the like that remind me why I'm drawn to FR.
When I was on a political board of no fixed politics, I once saw a leftie absolutely lose it over how many conservatives like Bob Dylan.
Hey, here's a freeper with a BFA - Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts. They so pigeon hole everybody and project it on conservatives.
This is amusing. They believe themselves so culturally superior, yet likely have no clue what culture really is. Stand-up comedy? Give me a break. That's for when you want to lighten up and drop the culture schtick. The same goes for movies (unless you include the great films of the past). Nothing today is worth cultural consideration.
Have many of them read the classics? Have they studied art? Have they studied/appreciated classical music, jazz, early country or true folk music? Have they had more than a Bukowski's moment with someone in the arts or music world who was more than a name? No, I didn't think so. I have, so I can rightly question their superiority.
And Raven dares to state that a visit here warrants a shower afterward. Ha! So much to learn, so little to learn with.
Snagged for future use with credits to you.

No, but they did watch "V" for Vendetta at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
