Remember being told to "search for your Inner Child" ?
A lot of folks did - quite successfully - but that child turned out to be something of a brat !

Is that your blog? I agree wholeheartedly. Just wanted to say it was a well written piece. Hard to believe that our grandparents defeated fascist Germany and Japan. Now we've become sort of like the Eloi out of the time machine. The only difference is we have the cruelty of the Morlocks.

My husband's helmet has a sticker on it that says My inner child is a mean little mf-er. Suits him quite well.
Personally I still like to see things through a child's eyes. Like rainbows in puddles & I am lucky to have a 7 yr old who makes sure I don't miss out on those things. I haven't yet explained the puddles have oil in them. That will come soon enough. As far as my inner child being a brat...I don't think so.
