The tone and the sentiment of some of Amanda Marcotte's and Melissa McEwan's posts personally offended me. It's not how I talk to people, and it's not how I expect the people who work for me to talk to people. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but that kind of intolerant language will not be permitted from anyone on my campaign, whether it's intended as satire, humor, or anything else. But I also believe in giving everyone a fair shake. I've talked to Amanda and Melissa; they have both assured me that it was never their intention to malign anyone's faith, and I take them at their word. We're beginning a great debate about the future of our country, and we can't let it be hijacked. It will take discipline, focus, and courage to build the America we believe in.
We must be greatful for the stupidity of our political enemies.
Go to the bathroom before watching! Too funny!
Have a link to more details? This is the first I'm reading of this.
It's also good for the history of this thread (and future reference).
You got that right.
LOL, you've GOT to be KIDDING me! How stupid does he think we are?!? How STUPID IS HE? LOL
More like they assured him they deleted the evidence that they maligned anyone's faith.
Well, he thinks he could be President, so we know the answer to the second question. He thinks WE will vote for HIM for president, so that answer's the first question.
Gosh, I sure want this clueless, tone-deaf, two-faced ambulance chaser for my next President, don't you?
So, first they're fired, then they're not? Time to stock up on flipflops. You're doing great, John - you just threw away the ENTIRE Christian vote, Catholic and Protestant.
You do realize that if John Edwards is elected President, he'll have to settle for moving in to a much smaller house.
It probably was pretty close to accurate portrayal, except Malkin is much hotter looking.

Hes apoligizing, claiming they are not his views, that he personally finds it offensive in an attempt to soften catholics and christians while at the same time keeping them employed to appease his looney left base.
What a doofus. what a way to take both sides of an issue LOL
Yep. It's a weaselly lawyer attempt to have it both ways. Ultimately, it won't work for either.
My crystal ball says they resign - by mutual agreement (secretly) - when this dies down.
What they don't know is:
It won't die down.
They won't be in the race long enough.
